Quest rewards in DF zones have no stats and are item level 1

I’m doing the initial quests in The Waking Shores and the Field Scout’s Vest, Field Scout’s Breeches, and the two weapons for the quest I just accepted have no stats and are item level 1 (I’m level 61). I thought at first they were just meant to be cosmetic items or something, but after checking Wowhead… nope, they’re just missing their stats. What’s going on?

Edit 1: Just want to clarify, none of my equipped gear has this issue, it’s only new gear and it’s specifically quest rewards (all of them). I tried a dungeon and the drop I got was an appropriate level.

Edit 2: After swapping the quest items in and out with currently equipped gear, my stats change as though the quest gear has stats appropriate to my level, so it’s an in-game display issue (no addons).

Same issue. Log in this afternoon and gear dropping in WS item level 1. Can confirm stats unaffected, just a weird tooltip bug.

My equipped gear that are these rewards have this issue.

And its not just quest rewards!
My drop from a rare spawn has this issue too!

Same issue. Also, some already equipped items are showing as item level 1.

I thought so, too, until I tried to enchant a ring showing as item level 1 and was told the target was too low level to be enchanted. I dug up some old enchants from Legion and BFA and same problem with item level 1 rings.

This happened to me too. Almost every piece of quest loot I got that didn’t randomly upgrade to rare or epic from Monday and Tuesday night is showing as level 1 in game. I was in Waking Shores and Ohn’ahran Plains.

Same thing here - disabled all mods and reloaded, same thing. Restarted game, same thing. Items I’m getting today are all level 1 with no stats. Also can’t seem to fish.

Same problem with me. I have a number of items…uncommons, rares and epics, that are all Level 1.

Just wanted to post that deleting the _retail cache folder while the game was not running fixed my issue. Found it in another thread and did it last night and it was all good!
