Quest or die in this patch

if you don’t like questing you’ve pretty much got nothing to do until the raids and LFR are released, plus some mythic+ if you want to repeat the same dungeons for the 1000x

kinda pointless to resub right now if you hate questing. Just wait until the raids are released

edit: and for whatever reason there is actually a gap between the gear the obtained from the last LFR and the gear required for the new one. LFR gave 400 gear last patch and now requires 410 to even enter the new LFR in a few weeks.

another push to quest more because its cheap to develop and increases /timeplayed

But then you’ll never be invited to the raid cause your gear is outdated

Kinda pointless to be subbed to a game where most of the game is centered around questing and storyline.

Why the heck would you play an mmo if you don’t like questing?

Lmao seriously. Questing and story is a major cornerstone of WoW, they’re not going to abandon something that literally millions of people care about doing and enjoy.

Um are we playing the same game? I’ve been playing since Wrath and I’ve never paid attention to lore/questing because it was not REQUIRED to have relevant gear.

The last couple of expansions have made LFR a place to go for mogs-they have been pretty consistent that LFR rewards will not qualify for the next level of LFR but also have made that gear readily achievable with pretty small time investment.

This is not new and has been the philosophy since the second raid of legion.

Questline unlocks for zones for at least three expansions now would like to say otherwise.

I dont always agree with Rhielle but when i do - its for pointing out a basic necessity of MMORPGs. Quest well friends.

Instant ilvl 480 gear for everyone with max cloak so we can sit around and do nothing, apparently.

Which makes complete sense. They didn’t say they didn’t do it, just that they didn’t pay attention to it, which is how a lot of players are who don’t care about questing. Doesn’t mean they shouldn’t have done zone quests or questing at all though for again the millions of people who do play it for quests. Like you said, if you don’t like quests, they’re playing the wrroooooong mmo lol.

Did you never wear shoulder enchants in Wrath?

Questing is a lot more enjoyable in Elder Scrolls Online. WoW questing is second rate, but the game is more polished overall (I would hope so since it’s 15yrs old). I skip through WoW quests like I ride my motorcycle, they’re just a blur.

If you enjoy questingthough, play ESO.

Questing is the most fundamental thing about an RPG. I can’t even…

For starters, if you don’t like quests, you’re in the wrong game.

Lol seriously. That’s like going to a Mexican place and complaining about tacos or quesadillas. Like that what you signed up for dude!

Also lol@ trying to argue ESO is a better questing experience, my whole time with that game was the definition of “meh”.

I’m glad more and more people are catching on to the time played metric.

Watch it burn baby, watch it burn. :sunglasses:

I don’t wanna spend hours and hours questing after I hit level cap. I’d rather do end game content like raiding and arena/BGs, like I’ve done for years in this game… ? What are you people not getting? Not everyone likes to spend all their spare time questing. And I have a right to say what I like and don’t like about an MMORPG

Again, no. You didn’t owned the company and you didn’t paid for all of our sub so you have NO right to dictate how the developers develop THEIR game. The only thing you can do is quit and be done with it.
