Quest: Ominous Portents

For the quest Ominous Portents in WoD located at the starfall outpost in shadowmoon valley I am required to use elunes holy water and a scroll called the “scripture of elune” to compel a demon. The item “scripture of elune” is unusable at this time for both myself and other players attempting the quest, rendering the quest impossible to complete.

Got the same issue here on my velf. I’d love for this to be fixed asap, because ultimately it makes all the quest progress in the Shadowmoon story unobtainable, which in turn makes a ton of Draenor stuff unobtainable to Alliance players. Like flying. Which is something I’m actively trying to get since I didn’t play when the content was current.

Still bugged, any chance of a blue response saying the issue is known and will be looked at?

Same. Quest is bugged for me as well. Trying to do it now. There is a steadily growing group in front of the NPC that are as perplexed as I am.

I just tried this quest myself. It is still bugged. It sure would be nice if it got hot fixed so that we could all continue our questing in this zone.

To anyone having this problem, open a ticket explaining the bug, and request that a GM finish the quest for you. It will draw attention to the bug and they may (or may not) mark the quest as complete allowing you to continue the questline.

How long does a request like opening a ticket to get the GM to autocomplete a quest take, so I can continue the quest line? Also, How do I go about doing that in the game?

I believe I figured out how, now I wonder how long does it take for them to respond to my request?

It took about 30hrs for them to respond to my GM ticket.

When I try to open a ticket for a quest bug, I keep getting pointed here, what where the steps you took to create a successful ticket for this? I think I’m missing something.
