I can’t see any tip show on the item and npc that I need for the quest. It
only on my mage, but my main and others without problem. I don’t know how to fix, and what I am looking for. Please help.

What level is your mage? What quest is it doing? Can you describe the “quest note” more specifically?
my fire mage at 120 for awhile. I have to start daily on my main hunter,
then back on mage, that I know what npe to kill. when I run the mouse over the npe , it not show that I need to kill.
I’m going to take a guess and assume you are referring to the tooltip which will show in the lower right corner of the screen when you hover your mouse over something.
Open the Game menu, click Interface, click Display, and change the Outline mode to “Quest Objectives, Mouseover, and Target”. If its already that value, change it to something else, click OK on the scren, go back to the screen and change it back to “Quest Objectives, Moouseover, and Target”.
Thank you for help, I did try change setting then reload. And back to Default setting then reload again. Too bad
still doesn’t work. I might open ticket, see how it goes.

this worked for me, in the chat line type the following:
/console showQuestTrackingTooltips 1
be sure to type it with the capitals in the right places, i messed it up a couple times lol. i got it from a blizzard support article-
it’s work now
