When trying to place banners on Djaradin corpses it does the animation, but no quest progression and the banner isn’t appearing on the corpses.

I am seeing the same thing as well. Even after abandoning quest and restarting, this does not go away

Same thing for me.

Look like they still have’t fix this brokern quest as I do not even have the banners to place and here it is Jan 22, 2023 and this kinda stuff is suppose to bring players back to Wow? What a sucker I am and I wasn’t born yesterday.
