As we near 15 years of battle, wouldn’t it be time to increase the number of quests a champion may hold at one time? They have proven to be more than capable of keeping track of their duties.
I agree, its frustrating enough having to do catch up for flight and other nonsense in other DLC’s I wasnt here for… Lack of quest space does not help.
Yep. I’m hitting that too. It was frustrating to get out into the wilds of Naz, find a cool looking quest giver and hear a hard nope from the interface. >.<
decided to take some gathering alts first into the new zone to level them. i don’t even quest on them so i thought, “no way the quest log will fill, and if it does i can clear it”
had to stop doing mechagon because i have no room on the quest log… i have no more quests to drop unless i drop current quests… its crazy.
i feel sorry for people that took their mains in.
and as far as the quest log goes, the limit is there to force players to focus… but the problem is that we have way more quests now, and they even brought back dailies… so its a mess.
they need to add quest categories… one for “arcs” like the war quests, another one for raidquests with LONG completion tasks and dailies, and a final category for simple quests.
Yeah either increase the limit for the quest log or have a separate quest log for each expansion which would effectively make the quest log limit bigger.
The quest limit is more for next expansion, so you can’t just fill your log full of completed quests, and complete them all on the first day of the next expansion.
As always, it’s the exploiters that ruin things for everybody.
Now I’m not defending Blizzard here specifically… but I work in IT, and anytime somebody tells me something should be easy before they actually tell me what it is… I internally cringe, because what often may “seem” easy from the Outside, is in fact a massively complicated and messy affair. I’m not saying that’s what is happening here, but things are not always as you think they are.
Also work in IT. Well, more front end dev… but my path crosses over a lot.
I would assume each quest already has an active and inactive state that is tracked. In the same way a quest can’t be completed while in a raid group, quests could be limited with this functionality. I realize there is some other logic in there that would have to be built out, but def can be done. I would highly doubt blizz would make this change though.
