This has become the worst thing about this game. You level so fast for one so you end up still trying to finish 3 expansions at one time. You have Garrison Quests, Class Hall Quest, Bfa Ship Quests, Warfront Quests, PVP quests, Brawler Quests. Zone Quest. Battle Pet Quests, War Campaign Quests, Profession Quests. It is frustrating to the point of no longer wanting to play. Oh and who ever thought of daily quest(repeatedly doing the same quests over and over daily) slap
Can you not increase the size of the quest list. Or make a a separate quest list for each expansion and well all the categories listed above?
I have heard that the reason for a limit on the quest list is because you think someone will save up quests and turn them all in and get a jump on a new expansion. Well turning in quests from 1 or 2 expansions ago should not give any noticeable experience anyways. So if you have a separate list for each expansion with a limit of 25 there is a start.
Just get rid of any profession quests period, if there was not a quest list size issue then it might be ok. Yet there is an issue so do away with them. Give them there own Quest list, there is a thought.
I just feel something needs to be done, when I came back I brought two of my RL friends with me. There has not been a time where we have not all run into this issue and be like, wait sry guy log is full don’t know what to drop there all important quests.
Well I think the main reason for that is because then one would pretty much have to stick to one expansion, even though your already level 120. You have to do a ton of things for flying and not starting on rep grinding on all of the zones and doing all the quests in all the zones for lore keeper etc. I am sure there might be a time when I say screw older zones and content. I only have 2 120’s at this time and only for a couple days now, already I am like ok thats it no more garrison dailies or class hall stuff, even thought there not done. So I dumped evety quest from older zones on my DH and I am still running into log full on him. Wonder if I can post a screenshot
You don’t need to stick to one expansion, just the finish the quests that you have, do a quest from a different expansion, then come back and do a quest from the expansion you did before. Do them in any order you want, but finish the quests, don’t keep picking up quests without actually completing any of it.
It’s not that simple. Never was. We pick up quests for different areas of the zone, even quests from that zone to go to different zones. And then there’s the pet battle quest that stays in your log, the auto accepted quests, weekly quests, profession quests, etc.
Well in most cases when you finish a quest there is 3-5 more that open up in that location. Picking up one and doing it to come back and grab another and go right back the same spot kinda sucks. I mean I get what ya all are saying. It has just been such a frustrating thing all through out the game for me and the other people I know. You would think there could be some change. Well, if you don’t want to do them yet, why not let them be and pick them up when you’re ready?
Honestly, I hate those auto-accept quests. I wish they would just be presented separately and out of the way.
I understand. I just think picking up quests is one of those things where you’re mostly in control (aside from auto accept). For the most part, they will be there for you to do when you’re ready to do them, so you can just not pick them up and fill up your duty list until you want to do them, but it’s your choice.
Because trying to find them half the time is difficult. They don’t always show up on the map. Especially the ones you find along the way and aren’t at flightpaths.
Again, it’s never that simple.
I’m not sure why anyone would be opposed to upping the number of quests in the log. It doesn’t negatively affect anyone.
The thing about don’t pick them up and finish your other quests first kinda thing maybe seem ok until you can not figure out why You just can’t continue some story or get some achievement or get flying in a zone. then you have to go back through a forum post showing a list of like 25 quests to do and figure out where ya left off, where that npc is etc. Happened to me once it was a pain. So always afraid to drop a line that’s leading here and there.
I never said I was opposed to it. They could make it be able to hold all the quests in the game. I still think it’s better to actually complete quests rather than let them pile up.
Yeah, I understand. That’s why I usually like to stick to specific questlines and complete them.
