Quest lag?

I’ve asked a few friends and I’ve tried disabling all my addons, reloading and relogging, but this problem seems to keep happening.

When I open my map, sometimes there are no world quests for up to 10-15 seconds. Sometimes they appear on their own, sometimes I have to reopen the map a few times.

This is also happening when I talk to NPCs to pick up or turn in quests. The NPC will become unresponsive, and I have to run out of interact range. Sometimes the quest window will just random pop up 10-15 seconds later.

This is only happening with quests. My game isn’t lagging. My internet is fine. Combat is normal. Loading screens to new zones are normal. I tried disabling all addons, problem persists. I just want to feel like I’m not crazy and hope that it’s fixable some how. The delay is long enough that it’s annoying and unfun.

I want to bump this thread, as I have the exact same thing happening to me. The WQ thing isn’t even so bad, but daily quests specifically are weirdly laggy, everything from the Soiree NPCs to turning in Prey hunts, to Naigtal/Val dailies. Very annoying, especially when you have multiple to turn in. -_-

Can confirm the same issues with both weekly quests and world quests. Incredibly frustrating and it’s persisted for weeks now.

There is still an issue with this. WQ either not popping up on the map or flickering in and out of existence. Quest NPCs taking a really long time to open up a dialogue window, sometimes having to click on and off of them or run away and run back a few times until they do. It’s also not just their first dialogue window either, the rewards window does the same thing too.

I thought I was losing my mind for weeks cuz I didnt see anybody else reporting this. Its been driving me crazy. I constantly look at my map and WQs are always disappearing. Quest lag has been worse today.

Im assuming it wont be fixed until the patch next week but its ridiculous its been going on this long already.
