While working on the quests in the Maw specifically The quest “That’s a Good Trick” I found that I was unable to interact with NPC’s for quest acceptance, Quest turn in or even for travel as the quest item is remaining active on mouse click but has a restriction of only being usable on certain characters i.e. enemies and the mawrats. this makes it impossible for me to turn in the quest upon completion.
Having this issue as well, cant seem to find anything to fix it. Is there a way to disable the use quest item on right-click in the options? I havent found anything yet
After logging out and back in with the quest completed it stopped showing the icon on click so I was able to turn it in.
Well, relogging didnt work, but a /reload did. Thanks!

Yep, logging out did nothing for me, but a /reload solved the problem - but only after I had done the quest.

Although it’s a temporary fix, I was able to remedy this by running:
/console interactQuestItems 0
You can re-enable it by changing the 0 to a 1.

You are my hero, thank you so much for this. I am not a fan at all of Blizz UI updates, but this has to be the dumbest one of them all. I don’t need them to help me, I’ve been playing long enough to know how to use a quest item. They really need to have way to turn off their features cause honestly don’t like any of them. Sorry for the rant, and thank you again for this fix.
