Quest: Hooking Over - Heirmir Bugged (Inc Fix!)

On the quest Hooking Over in Korinthia. At the stage: Anima Conduit Repaired the NPC Bonesmith Heirmir has walked to the shrine and is bugged not doing anything. Multiple players waiting - many have tried abandoning and re-attending however he is not doing anything and wont advance the quest.

CONFIRMED FIX: Hey guys - I read on another post that phasing worked to bypass it. Open the group finder and join a random group (Not a raid party - 5 or less). When you phase out the NPC will spawn by a pillar just in front and to the left of the shrine and you can interact with him to advance the quest.

I tried it and this fixed it for me.

Worked it shows up after I leave of group.

The NPC is near to pillar.

Quest we need to unlock flying is bugged. lol

Standing in front of the Quest NPC on the floating island, maybe 25 of us RIGHT now with a bugged quest- Heirmir will not talk to us…

Edit: got lucky with the grouping to phase. Still should definitely not be needed.

Phased over in LFG and it fixed after the 3rd try.

I joined a pug for Mor’geth, the world boss in the Maw, and got this trick to work.

I’ve tried about 10 groups and this has not worked so far.

Everyone is trying the phasing thing right now, leading to a bugged NPC on all phases. I’m guessing that’s why it’s not working anymore.

I exited the game and came back maybe 15m later and it was working.

You have to click on the hook on the island that you want to hook over

In other words, the further hook. Not the one close to you.
