Hey everyone! When you are at a quest giver, either picking up a quest or turning one in, be polite to the other players that are there and dismount. Yes, we can click on the quest giver through you, but it just makes it easier if everyone is dismounted. This will especially be a major irritant once DF drops and so many people are questing through the new zones.

you know they have it where people will dismount now
but they can body hide with the toons so nothing will change
There adding a setting where you can set up a keybind to interact with NPC’s you’ll be fine
What should be done is all Quest giving NPC or mail boxes…or whatever Vendor should have a dead zone around them where you can’t mount…or as you come up it dismounts you…its so dang tiring to see a npc mobbed with idiots…
Imo it’s really only an issue when people start piling their Yaks and Brutosaurs on top of the NPCs, normal sized mounts aren’t really a problem.

I always dismount at NPC’s, mailboxes, etc. I feel the same. Like an unspoken polite rule of conduct. To each their own tho.

The click through thing they’re introducing in DF isn’t going to help when you’ve got 4 yaks, 7 mammoths and 5 brutos, each with 2 interactable NPCs camped right on top of a quest giver.
The only real solution is for Blizz to disable the ability for you to interact with someone’s mount NPCs if you aren’t in their party.
This here, especially during beginning of a new expansion and patches where everyone is doing a quest at the same time.
I have personal space between me and the NPC lol.
Every quest I’ve done on beta so far dismounts you near questgivers it’s actually really annoying
NO the real solution is to dismount any body on a mount that gets close too any NPC or Quest Giver or mail box …
they do this already with Timewalking as many of you know…so def wouldn’t be a big deal to add it to a couple heavy traffic quest hubs

This really isn’t an issue, you can just click through them with 0 problems.

I have many of the huge mounts I have the Long Boi and yak and that…I just never was one to block anything with my mounts …I find it it in bad taste to do that…I even will dismount myself so not to be blocking …
Constantly getting dismounted for riding passed a NPC would be really annoying. A better solution would just to have players phase out when close to critical NPCs. They did this before with the mission table in BFA.
