You are supposed to kill Panicked Tunnelers which the dog finds, but there are NIL, all the tunnelers the dog finds are Briarback Tunnelers.
This is totally annoying, fighting this sh…tters and not actually able to do the quest.
Is this just a little bug put in to annoy us?

You should have an extra action button and if you look at the ground there will be little moving spots. Click button, get ground targeting, click on those moving spots.
Up pops panicked dudes
I don’t have an extra action button. I have a stupid dog I click on where the red fog things are, and then the mobs supposed to appear. But the wrong ones - Briarback - appear and not the’Panicked’ ones. I am staying inside the area marked on the map in the area where I got the quest.
I don’t see little moving spots. Maybe I am suddenly playing another game. Hello…is this Wow? The expansion I paid a heap of money for?
Comments on wowhead for that quest suggest putting some distance between you and spots where the things are before sending the dog in.
I think you should have an extra action button for targeting, though. If sending the dog from distance doesn’t work, maybe try dropping the quest and picking it back up again?
After picking up the quest you get the Go Get Them! extra button.
Watch for dusty spots across the quest area and use extra button onto them.
Humphrey will go to the spot and uncover a tunneler to let you kill him.

Anyone else having issue where the mounds do not appear?
I have watch the youtube video and I do not get anything like the mounds I saw there.
This may unfortunately be one of the particle effects currently disabled on macs with intel GPUs as a workaround to the crashing/freezing problem. (Your post history shows you’ve posted in the mac crashing/freezing thread, so I’m assuming you’re on an affected computer.)
