Quest Drop Syndicate Missive

EDIT: Yes I realize this is my retail character and not my classic >.> For the guy who so idiotically pointed it out.

There is a quest in Alterac Mountains that is dropped by the syndicate org just west of Tarren Mill and it’s given by the item “Syndicate Missive”. There are two ways of obtaining this item, 1) Kill the Syndicate in the area (pretty high drop rate) 2) Talk to Henchman Valik and give him a “Southshore Stout”…

However, I have killed the camp 5 times over (50-60 mobs) and it hasn’t dropped NOR can I talk to Henchman Valik to give him the beer to get the quest that way.

Has anyone ran into this problem before?

Your level 120, try doing it on classic not retail

Why can’t you talk to Valik? Easiest way. Then you just have to kill one guy, the drunk one who has the stout.

Seems if someone attacked him and made him hostile you have to kill him and wait for him to respawn.

The problem is I can’t talk to him, there is no option to talk to the guy. And he is not hostile.
