I just completed this on my rogue. Stay unmounted. literally run inside of her the entire time. At the end when shes talking to crowley, stay inside of here and don’t move. Worked for me lol
After months of trying different things and reporting this bug (with ZERO response from Blizzard), I was able to complete it by running alongside Sylvanus character and staying in her blue target area. It took a couple tries and timing with her stops, but it finally worked out. Tons of thanks to those with the patience to work it out while Blizzard has been conspicuous in their SILENCE. Community +1, Blizzard 0.
To complete this quest you have to be unmounted. Sylvanas will increase your running speed. Stay right on top of her throughout and you shouldn’t have any issues.
If this was some minor quest with nobody important involved, i could at least understand why this hasn’t been patched for almost 4 months. But it involves some crazy important stuff, and the entire time you’re stuck with your face in Sylvanas’ horse’s private parts! C’mon, Activision Blizard.

I was trying to complete this quest in a group with 2 family members and we were all layered into different views and couldn’t see each other. We had to all end up doing the quest on our own. Not a good way to have fun when grouped with others!
