Attempted the quest “A Warrior’s Death”, but it was not flagged as complete after defeating all the enemies. (Instead of waiting for them to attack in the scripted order, I pulled all of them at once and AE’d them together.)
I waited for them to respawn, but they respawned as friendly and the scripted event didn’t re-occur, so I abandoned the quest. The NPC to acquire it from was gone in both locations, and now it is unobtainable for me.
I’m also unable to complete “A Warrior’s Death”. I’ve dropped and re-selected the quest three times now (after waiting through the long delay for the questgiver to respawn / rephase) and tinkered with different approaches with the same result. (AE. Single targeting. Letting Saurfang take everything himself and just dotting a single mob to put myself in combat, etc.)
Thank you for mentioning the long wait for the quest NPC respawn. I came back just now to see that he had come back, and this time, all the enemies attacked at once, and AEing them down this time completed the quest for some reason.
Having the same problem as well. I attacked them all at once because they were just so weak.
Ugh. So frustrating. I can’t complete it either.
I can’t even get the fight to start. I talk to Saurfang, he says “Will you stand with us?” but it does not have any dialogue options.
I never even saw hostiles. Abandoned the quest and didn’t wait for respawn. Gave up.
I too got the friendly respawns, abandoned, logged, and back tracked to Org. Headed to Redridge and then to Swamp of Sorrows where I found Zekhan with the quest at Misty Reed Farm. Waited for the RP and redid the fight. Dang that Saurfang packs a heck of a wallop!
I abandoned and tried to pick it up again with no success it was a huge waist of time, and time is a precious thing it makes me wonder why I am paying for a game that continues to fail. Understandably all games have their faults this one just seems to do it more then the ones you don’t have to pay for and the customer service has gone down the drain. I remember a time when you would have someone from support pm you with in 20 min now your lucky to hear from them in a few days. If I am wrong call me out on it.
Same here. Tried relogging, abandoning, redoing the quest, backtracking, aoe’ing, single target/ Nothing, quest is still bugged.
