Quest "A Valiant Effort" bugged out

When doing the quest the item Crusaders Dressing says item not found even though its in my inventory and I’m standing over the proper npc. Tried relogging and abandoning and reaccepting the quest and nothing fixes it.

Edit:

Abandoned quest.
Exited the game entirely(Not just logged out)
Logged back in and accepted the quest and it worked.

Same problem. I’ve tried abandoning and picking it up again, I’ve tried renewing the UI. I’ve tried relogging with quest. I’ve tried abandoning, relogging and reaccepting quest with no results on my Demon Hunter.

It worked when I did it for the first time on my Warlock, but I’m now getting the “Item Not Found” error on my Shaman and Rogue. I’ve dropped the quest several times, relogged several times, left the zone and even disabled my addons. Still not working.

This happened to my Orc Warrior, not to my Dwarf Warrior or Gnome Mage though, seems to be hit or miss.

I dropped and reselected the quest 3x. logged out and back in with and without the quest, and the bandages kept not being found in my inventory.

Just in case this helps anyone else -

I had the same issue on two of my avatars, and tried the same fix others have mentioned, as well as bug reports. No love. However, I had a brainstorm today, and hope it applies to you as well. If you’re similar, you’re busy killing scourge asap in the area, and since the valiants are closely clustered, you get a few, and then it stops working. What I figured out is that I was clicking the same 3 as they respawned, and while the quest doesn’t mention this, they have to be 6 DIFFERENT Valiants. Even if they respawn, if you’ve already clicked the location, they don’t count. So this worked for both of my characters with the problem. It won’t help people who have had bugs with bandages, but may it help others. Best of luck!
