Quel'thalas upgrade when?

I would love to see our beautiful Blood Elf kingdom being updated, and see what it would look like today. Then also to have it really connected to the Eastern Kingdom and able to fly around, and not see Silvermoon in a carboard cutout state as well.

And no Void Elves, you may not request for Silvermoon in this thread.

I kinda wish they’d just give all the cities a one-time update and let us chill wherever we like. Throw in Gilneas and a Bilgewater Harbor as well.

I honestly doubt it will ever happen.

There is a list.

We will put you on it between ‘New cities for Night Elves/Undead’ and ‘Bring Gnomeregan into the present’.

Good luck!

I remember watching a video that shows how Silvermoon is built and it’s pretty crazy the tricks they use to make you think the city is all there.

Definitely would love a redesign of Silvermoon city through Ghostlands and remove the instance portal so it all flows together.

They need to do the same for the Azuremist and Bloodmist Isles.

This way they can add flying to all these areas.

Probably fewer statues of Kael’thas at the very least.

Well, I think having to catch a ship to there is better than flying all the way there, but having the power to fly also in these zones would be good.

If they do an update, they’d better not remove visages of Kael’thas. He was a victim of bad writing.

There might be plenty of props and textures from Legion Dalaran (and Dragonflight Dalaran) to tidy the city up.

Not much logic to predicting a visit to Silvermoon since encountering the Manastorms in a new area of Mechagon during Shadowlands.

I’m surprised the next expansion capital isn’t related to the Night Elves and Forsaken-- granted the Shadowlands is in the afterlife and the Dragon Isles were considered abandoned.

Agreed. While I no longer will play an elf I really do love Silvermoon and would love to see it be updated to reflect the current world. With the Nightborne’s help they could really have a beautiful updated zone.

PS. Portal rooms in all capitals.

I’m still curious as to why the ghost lands needs to be zoned into.

Yes , we can
Silvermoon belong to the Alliance anyway.

Let’s take it back boys and girls

Updated Silvermoon

When you stop to think about all the code, by different “authors” in the game it’s crazy.

Remnant of BC map design where ALL of the outdoor BC content is on the Outlands map file. They just never bothered updating it

Because they needed a hard gate that they could use to check that you had the BC expansion. Same as the Dark Portal.

They COULD have, potentially, just made the area have a global requirement that if you didn’t have BC you were simply teleported to the nearest graveyard, or something. Like the dismount timer in Wintergrasp when a battle is going on.

But at the time, the hard gate of the portal was there preferred mechanic.

Finally, the way it was implemented, it’s not part of the larger world, it’s a separate instance. This is in contrast to the officers lounge in Vanilla with had a portal to keep the riff raff out. In BC, when they got rid of PvP ranks, the portal vanished and it was just a room in Stormwind.

Ghostlands is a separate instance on the server, so it’s not as simple as just removing the portal. They need a loading page.

Pretty sure back in TBC, you didn’t need to purchase TBC expansion to go to Quel’thalas zones or to play a Blood Elf

I doubt that the Silvermoon City can be happens; if the restored the Blood Elf lands from the Undead Scourge.

As a Void Elf, I would like to suggest that we get to visit our true home. It’s only fair.

Something, something Horde bias.

Eversong would be one of the most beautiful places to fly in. If they don’t want to go to the trouble of making Silvermoon flyable, put an arcane dome over it that you can’t fly through and give us Eversong at least.
