Not sure why this is ever viewed negatively. I love getting the chance to face the “pros”. They’re only human, its not like they’re infallible and can’t be beat.

One of the only things about shuffle I like is being able to queue into the top echelon of people. Running into streamers in 2’s is a cool experience and despite the L, you should learn why you lost so quickly and take it as a learning experience. That way other people seem much easier; because they are.
I’ve run into him tons in the past. Beaten him many times as well. I’ve also lost though. Those games are always the most fun in my opinion. It’s a “lean forward” kind of moment.

its just hard enough for myself to push 1800 as it is. losing to a rank 1 in that bracket sucks. but its part of the game

I get what you’re saying. You don’t expect that level of skill at that rating. However with anything competitive you’re going to run into this situation. Think about high school sports, if you play long enough you’ll eventually run into someone who’s going to play in the NFL, MLB, etc. Sure, theres a strong possibility that they’ll smoke you, but if you succeed then that’s something to be proud of. I really like the opportunity to measure myself against the best, even if it’s only 2s. Just my opionion. Take it for what you will.
my only success at beating a glad was when i qued into Senseiww, they qued double dps and i was queing with a healer and his carry flopped.
