Queen's Conservatory gives horrible rewards for the amount of time it takes

So for the Night Fae, you can grow the Queen’s Conservatory by infusing pods with spirits and then using catalysts to improve your rewards. It takes 3 full days for the pod to be ready. I just put a legendary spirit in one of my pods and had 3 purple catalysts going into the pod. Waited 3 days. Just went to check my reward.

A bag of fish and a green pet - Dusty Sporeflutterer. Not even a blue rare pet?

What the actual heck?! Really?

I decided to upgrade the conservatory since I don’t have another use for the anima. I need 20 more redeemed souls before I can upgrade it to rank 5. But even at rank 4, the rewards have been rather lackluster, mostly meat, fish, skins and ore. Maybe an occasional 50 rep with a random faction.

Are you at rank 5? It would be disheartening, considering it costs 15k anima.

Yeah it’s pretty well known that the NF and Venth covenant featured things are crap solid solid piles of crap compared to abom factory and path of ascension.

lol yeah I did conservatory on my hunter because I wanted the armor set from upgrading it. But yeah I think I’ve planted 2 pods in all that time and it’s like wtf is this, lol?

You know, considering Ardenweald’s lack of rocks and therefore metal, it’s oddly sus how much ore one gets from the conservatory, no?

Well between my mission table and the garden, I haven’t had to fish or actively farm meat for cooking in a long time. So at least it saves me there

Meanwhile the necrolords are running around with their abomination friends and a ton of flesh-crafted pets and mini-horrors.

it does pay out over time

you have to do old may (maw, I mean maw) dailies to get the thingys for it

the real problem is that there are so few rewards and stuff for other classes doesn’t drop (BOA please) so there’s even fewer rewards … so once you get the conservatory going you run out of rewards almost instantly

after that it’s just bags of crap

I just dislike having to do irrelevant crap(,maw dailies) for spirits.

You need to get it to level 5 and use the seed that has 4 catalysts connected to it for the best rewards. Use epic or rare level spirits in those seeds for best gains. You won’t see much before level 5.

I have it at rank 5 on two characters, but both of them now sit idle. I have little interest in the cosmetic rewards, and the profession reagents are too random for my taste. Between randomness, the three day wait, and the bank space taken up by spirits and catalysts I decided it was not worth using.

I’d rather have an updated Pandaria farm than this.

Yeah, we really should be able to get them randomly from Korthia dailies too.

Also the drop rate on the epic ones is abysmal. I haven’t seen one in weeks, and the rare spirits are barely even worth planting.

Yeah I only have ever seen one epic one and it’s still in my bank for a rank 5 conservatory.

I just switched covs and haven’t dabbled in upgrades too much. Is there really anything worth upgrading to max? Especially since I have flying now?

Max level travel network unlocks dailies that can give around 15-18 blue anima tokens for like three minutes of effort. And the conservatory is boring but it is the best way to get the four mounts that are are common to all the covenant features, since you can get them for free from seeds while all the other covs have to buy them.

This is a Bad Trend, reward pets seem to be all green. It is just a way to make you grid out blue upgrade stones.
