Rare spawns, 3 seconds later rare is dead.

It literally takes me longer to phase over to another shard than it does for these rares to stay alive.

Contrasting this you have the raid boss spider.

Like I said, they should of given it a shield of sorts.
I guess they don’t think it’s necessary…

Man it blows. I just got into a group twice for Engulfer, once it died just as I phased over, the second one thankfully the matriarch was still coming down from the sky. 16 seconds later, dead.

Literally just posted about this in another thread, lol.
sorry…NOT running as fast as I can across half the map only to miss it by 14 seconds. lmao.
And Im NOT sitting on the game 20 hours a day hoping I just happen to be close enough when something big spawns.
HORRIBLE game design…again.

So basically you guys are mad that rares are not always up at your convivence, making them rare.

lmao…how does casual have a single thing to do with this garbage game design?
Casual…hardcore…it takes us all the same amount of time to get to the target.
if anything, this is clearly for those who play the game 18 hours a day and have far more likelyhood of being in the right spot at the right time when some monstrosity spawns and they get a chance to get a shot in.
for casuals, we aint gonna be sitting here combing the countryside hours upon hours a day trying to get to every spawn, lmao

edit
Xy’rath just pops up…literally on the exact opposite side of the map from me. lol.
And if I run to try to get to it, it’ll be dead before I get there…and the next spawn will be right where I was before…lol.

No, we are mad that rares spawn at random intervals and die within seconds on a map this size. It spawns and if you are not within 3 seconds of it there is a good chance it will be dead before you even think about going after it.

You literally need to camp rares that you want to have a chance of killing them and that is not a good game design.

lmao…its a ridiculous game design…the psychobabble has nothing to do with it.

Wow, huh? Totally overgeared crowd takes down a rare before a lower gear can get there. Is that a surprise? Or funny? Just is what it is. Weird thinking - not sure why so abrasive

exactly. I wouldnt expect the 18 hour game day sort to comprende the issue here. lol

No way man… I’m a casual player and this is boring AF.

Don’t even bother unless you are camping that one given the sword it drops. I was halfway between Rhuv and Xy’rath and got into a group, ā€œNot pulled yetā€ they say, so by the time I get to it, it’s dead.

I joined a group some 300 yards away and it died before I got there, mounted.

So it works like it always has. Back in the day if you weren’t camping a popular rare then you probably wouldn’t be there to kill it either.

What you’re saying is that you don’t want rares to actually be rare.

Didn’t say it wasn’t.

No, I get ya, man. Its absurd…and its worse when players try to defend this joke game design, lol.
Its literally designed to keep you running back and forth for 10 hours a day.
I wont partake of it…at all.
and so another patch will barely get played. lol.
Great job Ion and crew…not.

Easy fix here. stop making them die so quick so others can get to them. The beast itself doesnt need to be ā€˜rare’ (how rare is it when theyre popping up all day long?)
Make the drops whats rare.
This way I can feel like Im freaking PARTICIPATING IN THE GAME…even if I dont get much in the way of drops each kill. Even grey pocket lint is better than not getting to have any chance of anything at all. Get it???
As its designed the only participation here is running across the map 17 times a day only to miss out…again

or…do it like this and many of us just wont participate…at all.
Great game design, guys. :roll_eyes::roll_eyes::roll_eyes:

Players would just complain about the drop rates and claim how horrible the game design is, like they do with everything that has a low drop rate. That idea doesn’t fix anything as far as angry players are concerned.
