The quest “Quality Assurance” asks you to excavate geodes, but they don’t sparkle like quest items. They only stand out if you have outline mode selected. Typically, without outline mode, I am able to see all quest items easily, so this is missing the effect. I am aware the appearance of this effect varies based on your graphics settings. Mine are on the low side to avoid lag, so the effect is typically a floating sparkle effect.
