Q'onzu is a jerk

This Q’onzu character is Elune, right?
And Eonar is a “life-corrupted” Titan?
And the worldtree roots of Elun’Ahir still exist beneath the ground, infusing Azeroth’s worldsoul with elemental life, as the Titan machinery infuses her with Order and the Nerubians try to infuse her with Void?

When Azeroth is born, is she going to be a Captain Planet-style “By your powers combined…” God?

A jerk indeed but the most entertaining NPC wow has had for quite some time. She/he? is a jerk for the sake of being a jerk, no reason, no change, just is a bored Loa that has seen it all or alot of it and is bored of us as soon as it meets us.

Qonzu is Poochie the Rock’n Dog.

Owl doesn’t want to help. That’s fine, considering that “help” in this context means I do everything and they give me 17 gold and 50 renown.

But instead of leaving it at that and calling it a day, every NPC seems to be preoccupied with the owl.

The place is burning down around their ears and everyone’s all “Hey. Where’s Poochie?!”

It’s about time they added an npc with a bit of pizazz & attitude into the game.

Who better than a high & mighty owl who is displeased by your mere presence proceeding to treat you with utter contempt.

I like Q’onzu because she’s better than us and she acts like it, which is a refreshing change from the usual “Champion, I am one of the most powerful beings in this expansion, I need you to stop this threat for me”

They are the self proclaimed “Loa of Change”.
Guess eventually it’ll be revealed who or what they are but kinda doubt that they’re Elune like could just be a super bored Wild God.

They/Them apparently :dracthyr_comfy_sip:

I like the theory someone made that it’s hakkar.

If they told us that it was actually Lady Moonberry in disguise, I’d totally accept it.

Ya’ll are referring to the Loa of Change who just kinda said “Eff helping, why would I help?”

Or is there a quest involved now?

This, We are so dull in the grand theme of wow if you think of it: some high and mighty “champion” of cosmic level power that can’t handle a few simple things like a dragon flying around with a temper problem. we have killed GODS and are going to a loa a powerful being: but in terms of “our power” a fly and we expect it to be all nice and happy and just go "OH let me bow down mighty “champion” and help you!

No, she is bored of us, our story, our asking for help, our very being, and it shows and it has little interest to do anything else other then to remind us how little it thinks of us: and i 100% approve.

I love Qon’zu. I think they were fun. It made me wish that just like Dragons, the Loas should have Visages as well.

Q’onzu is Bwonsamdi but an owl and they were the best thing to come of this patch. I enjoyed their presence (where Aviana did not).

I was ROFL in guild-chat as Avianna was all full of hate and outrage at what was going on … HOW DARE THEY do this in MY presence?! Don’t they know who they’re effing with?!??!! I AM AVIANNA!!!

They WILL NOT get away with this while I’M WATCHING OVER THIS!!!

Oh hey dude… go take care of this for me.

I mean COME … ON!!!

If they’re trying to establish the hierarchy of a “general over their troops”, they failed, miserably.

The only takeaway is a whiner who refuses to lift a finger. The most threatening thing to their very being … is something someone else needs to deal with.

Q’onzu … I’ll just table that discussion.

They/Them.

The quests make it incredibly obvious what pronouns they prefer and are referred by.

That said, yeah, Q’onzu is a little rat - and I adore them for it. :dracthyr_love_animated: One of the most entertaining NPCs in Dragonflight so far, and I really hope we see more of them soon! Plus, it’s cute watching their idle animation; the somnowl model was really made with a lot of love and attention to detail for real life owl behavior. As someone who adores owls, I really appreciate it.

They remind me of the woodland elves of Mirkwood.

Elusive. Uncommitted. We’re the uninvited Gimlis making enough noise to wake the dead, the dreaming, and even unborn Dryads

Ima be honest, i didn’t care for Q’onzu.

They felt like an OC i’ve seen on tumblr at one point.

Q’onzu gets to be a jerk!

Painfully obvious. They went out of their way to make sure you got it with the not-so-subtle Loa of Change.

It is my old man brain, but I honestly do have trouble with reading they/them so frequently in an exchange and reading it as the singular. It’s not malicious, it’s just awkward to read at times.

I love Qon’zu! The voice actor did a fantastic job. I was annoyed at first but he grew on me after a few quests. The cool flight forms help too so I might be a bit biased.

I really wish we could’ve finished that 100 questions game, it was fun…
