its disappointing to see such obvious quality of life failure, orgrimmar graphics upgraded, while stormwind remains untouched in polygons for 18 years, its just such bad PR. how do you expect to draw new players in when you cant even put the effort in polishing the whole game. Who are you appealing to? We need fresh blood in the game, Stop trying to put life support on old geezer’s subscriptions.

I seriously saw someone mad today because blizzard wanted to innovate a new flying system because “it wasnt wow”

I agree this game isn’t getting any new players, it is just losing old players.

Not that I care about this topic overly much, but I have the channel for new players activated on my account and I see A LOT of people popping up on there with the little green icon thing indicating they’re new.

I agree with you there. However I feel like Blizzard ultimatly gave up on capital cities after Cataclysm. Mist of Pandaria? Two shrines that looked identical and were pretty small, WoD a remodeled garrison on either side of ashran. Legion? Re-used dalaran. BFA? Kul’tiras was a mess to navigate and really the only part for players were on the harbor the rest of the area was for quests as part of the zone. The great golden pyramid was nice but it was rather small inside and everywhere else was used as a quest area except by the docks which wasn’t a lot of effort either. Though they were nice just not big. Then Shadowlands we have oribos… which is hideous (sorry art team) and bland. The covenant sanctums are somewhat cool but small too. Dragonflight capital city doesn’t look that great either as a actual city like the racial hubs. Blizzard has 0 interest in actual real capital hubs…

However they did put a ton of work into suramar… even though its a hostile area.

Ummm, updated poly doesn’t improve QOL, things like ore and herbs stacking to 200 does.

Here is an example of the toxicity in the community which takes away from the QOL, you ageist little…

This is incorrect. Stormwind was completely revamped in Cata, the same time as Org was.

I guess we are not counting Stormwind Harbor in Wrath of the Lich King, the razzing of the Park District in Cataclysm, the rebuilding efforts in Mists of Pandaria through Warlords of Draenor, the new memorial for Varian in Legion, and now a small update next to the Stockades for Dragonflight… Not to mention the upgraded textures in Cataclysm.
