Honestly, what the hell is up with the bots locking down this vendor and the runecloth recipe patterns on the Anniversary server? There were 14…14 people gathered around the vendor all trying to buy the recipes as they popped.
All of the recipes are being sold by the same 3 or 4 people on the AH for at least 10x vendor prices as these recipes are required to progress to 300 tailoring.
Players are then forced to use macros that autospam the vendor…because the bots are clicking nonstop 24/7. People are having to cheat to cheat the cheaters.
Why is botting and bottlenecks like this so ignored?
I realize its been 20 years…but little things like this are just madding. I should not have to deal with the Shanghai Cartel to buy a vendor item.
They are not required; they are in the guides. I never got any recipe from Qia and got 300. The guides are “optimized” by what whoever wrote them thought was expensive. That has changed/changes a lot. Ironweb spider silk, gold bars, are super cheap (at times).
Most of the enchanting guides don’t say do the enchants that take shards but most of the leveling shards (expect radiant) are like 5s.
Qia situation is annoying though. My alts dont have 14s bags except the ones I found. They have 12 or 16.
I will not buy a runecloth bag pattern from a ‘cartel’. I just won’t make the bags. Blizzard really needs to be willing to pay staff to mitigate damage from unethical gameplay in all their offerings, including Classic.
We are the paying customer, we shouldn’t also need to ‘police’ the server or create macros to sit at a vendor for 4 hours a day to utilize our chosen profession.
The recipe isn’t required to progress to 300, but yeah, it needs changed. Always the same alliance characters there every time i go there. I just report them at this point
