If in fact, characters of mine that currently are able to fly in areas in which they currently are able to fly, become unable to fly at all and/or in zones they already have earned flight in, then Blizzard will have seen the very last of my $$ and that will be that.

I see no point in paying to regress my characters to a point where they have even fewer abilities than they started with – particularly ones that have existed since 2006.

Crazy how Blizzard said in WoD that flying will be unlocked doing pathfinder in WoD and going forward and yet Shadowlands will be no different. Don’t like it. Then don’t fly. Not sure what people were expecting but this isn’t going to change.

Can people please stop with the WoW 2 nonsense? There isn’t going to be a WoW 2 so get over it.

What we have is their idea of compromise. No flying for most of the expansion and restricted flying for a few months.

yeah…Im likely to end up feeling the same.
I prefer old content and theyve already screwed me a time or two already to the point of being near quitting. Not sure that screwing with the bulk of my characters again is going to go over for another round and have me just blowing it off again.

Yeah I’m definitely in the pro-flying camp myself :stuck_out_tongue: but I do understand them wanting us to explore the new zones they created for us on ground first before we get to fly. That’s why I think either just giving everyone flying in .1 or even .0.5 would be better, or making the rep grind not patch-gated as late into the expansion.

Yep. Between pathfinder staying, no class rework (RIP arcane mage), no new class …… can’t say I’m AT ALL hyped for the new expac.

Only thing to look forward to right now with Shadowlands is no AP grind and it will mean BfA is finally over.

Do one meta achievement or shell out hundreds of thousands of gold on each character for flying? I’ll take the meta achievement that doesn’t cost me anything since I have to do the rep anyway for recipes.

If there was a WOW 2 in the wings, I doubt we would have a level squish and a complete reworking how the leveling system works, again. Instead we would just level to 130 with the status quo along without no class changes. Heck, they might have added Tinkers and Necromancers just to earn more money.

LOL hundreds of thousands of gold. Area flight licenses were always a fraction of the cost of the actual flight skill itself.

I rather have flying then no flying at all. Their game also. Don’t like it then don’t fly or play another game if flying means that much to you.
