Q: Hellcaller's Wither visual effect

I have a question for those able to test:

Is there a distinct visual effect attached to the wither condition? Or is the actual effect tacked onto whichever spell it’s associated with and it just coverts the damage to shadowflame?

I’ve scoured all of YouTube and I can’t find an answer to this.

I’m also asking because I’m absolutely vapid and superficial and it may impact my desire to bother with it.

It looks like Corruption no matter what spec you play, but less impressive. Because the effect disappears after a few seconds while regular Corruption lingers for its duration.
