They have so many excuses for layering it’s so obvious it’s sharding and it won’t change and they’re feeding us lies about the delays, the triggers, etc… because it’s sharding.

Pretty disappointed in no skeletons. To me this was a pretty important part of pvp realms. Entering an area with hundreds of skeletons on the ground was a scary sight and made you tip toe on eggshells wondering if danger is lurking about. Imaging the epic battles that took place here only moments ago. The logic that some people can use it for bad so nobody gets it is honestly pretty lame.

I really hope you mean as in making BC specific servers and allowing xfer to them or so. Because I would like to maintain Classic Vanilla servers permanently. BC began adding things that killed some of the flavor.

Is it possible to provide some clarity on questions that weren’t answered in the AMA?

Will those of us who have multiple accounts be able to transfer characters between those accounts.

Will the Stranglethorn Fishing and Gurubashi Arena Chest events be in for phase 1?

Will the update that converted experience into gold for completing quests at level 60 from patch 1.10 be included in Phase 1 or will that change be added later?

Yeah.
I enjoyed the idea that both factions had a class specific to them, much less Horde felt like Horde and Alliance felt like Alliance prior to BE and Draenei. And then there was flying, but it wasn’t that big of a deal as it didn’t hit the main areas yet.

With the base set at 1.12 in general, it would be expected. Although I cannot guarantee that.

Does this mean that Honor can/will update in real time? Or simply that it will update at a specific time without requiring downtime?

I just want to thank all the developers working on classic that are making this happen, thank you so much for beliving in classic and putting in all the time and effort to build this project for all the passionate fans out there who deeply love and appreciate the game and have wanted this for so long.
This project means so much to me and so many of my friends feel the same way, we cant wait to return to azeroth, thank you again so much to the team working hard to make it a reality.

Q: Will the Skeletons that appear when someone dies be the same as it was originally? Right now they disappear after you die again, they used to stay longer than that.
A: While we understand that this was a flavorful part of Original WoW and the earlier expansions, individual players leaving multiple player corpses and skeletons throughout the game world can lead to behavior such as spelling out advertisements, hate speech, and other negative messages. As such, this will not be a part of WoW Classic.

This was the reply to a follow up question about server maintenance schedule and downtime. I believe they’re saying that the honor can be updated in real time every Tuesday without the need to take the server offline as was done previously.
