I am glad they addressed most of the hotly discussed questions/topics. I am a little disappointed we won’t be getting piles of skeletons, and felt their reasoning was a bit weak, but whatever the game will still be fun.

Presedence from D3/WoW trades (allowed, advertised on realm forums) and Ions answers on allowing gold sales for carries, etc would imply its allowed. It was asked for a reason.

Its not even something im trying to do but it’s been asked to no avail for the past year.

Examples: No LFG in Wrath, undoing some blatant, unneeded homogenization in patches, or possibly an ilvl squish in TBC and Wrath so that old content is not marginalized?

A: We’re looking into what would be required to support BC and WotLK should we decide to go that route. The guiding principle for WoW Classic was staying faithful to the original game.

It’s less clear what our direction should be with BC and WotLK. As you point out, it is likely that some features of these expansions will not be universally embraced by the Classic community. We’ll be following player progression and sentiment to help guide us in our next steps.

Hence forth pretty much saying none of the above in Classic. “The guiding principle for WoW Classic was staying faithful to the original game.” Hopefully that means no LFG add on in classic, as it was not there.

A: On the most popular servers, such as Herod and Shazzrah, we are currently estimating lengthy queue times - up to several hours or more in certain instances. That is why we strongly encourage players to use the name reservation period to transfer their characters and their guilds to lower pop realms.

A: WoW Classic has much better means for detection that the original WoW. All WoW players are subject to our terms of service. Violation could result in suspension or banning of accounts.

They have so many excuses for layering it’s so obvious it’s sharding and it won’t change and they’re feeding us lies about the delays, the triggers, etc… because it’s sharding.

Pretty disappointed in no skeletons. To me this was a pretty important part of pvp realms. Entering an area with hundreds of skeletons on the ground was a scary sight and made you tip toe on eggshells wondering if danger is lurking about. Imaging the epic battles that took place here only moments ago. The logic that some people can use it for bad so nobody gets it is honestly pretty lame.

So yes, Bindings can drop in Phase 1. Good luck getting both of them.

[Q: What are the plans after Phase 6? More content for classic or moving to TBC? ]

A: We’ve done most of the hard work by bringing back 1.12 so progressing to Burning Crusade would be a lot easier for us. Our plan is to identify everything we need to do should we ever decide to go this route. We want to be sensitive to the desires of our players. Some may want BC and some may not. We’ll be following the Classic community closely to help determine what our next steps should be.

I really hope you mean as in making BC specific servers and allowing xfer to them or so. Because I would like to maintain Classic Vanilla servers permanently. BC began adding things that killed some of the flavor.
