Pyromancer highlights a big flaw with this current story telling

" Bolvar is lame because he’s not edgy and is just crispy khadgar"

This is the biggest problem with at least the narrative side of world of warcraft, so many of these characters are written to be basically the exact same character if it isn’t someone like Wrathion, Sylvanas, Talanji and you just gave me quest text from this character and made me guess i wouldn’t be able to tell who is actually speaking.

Like look at Baine, terrible character and then we look at ebonhorn who’s just black Baine… and this is how so many modern wow characters are written.

This also highlights the flaw how the writers are pushing all the races into their own morally good POV instead of letting fantasy races be fantasy races.

There should be a troll quest where a troll messes up, so he’s sentenced to be canabilized.

Calia Menethill should kill a group of scarlet crusaders and eat them.

Blood elves need to stop being written like pointy eared light praising smucks and instead the sick vampire elves they were orginally depicted as.

We’re going into Warthin with Thrall, Anduin and Valeera which has me hopefully. Valeera is a bad :peach: who kills orcs and eats bubble gum, shes very unique in her personality snd it makes her stand out.

Thrall and Anduin i dont care, Anduin crying about being mind controlled and Thrall raising some human kid instead of his own child( whos a wimp) is lame.

People still pay attention to the story in WoW after Shadowlands?

Wild.

Yeah the writers are junk. They don’t write characters or factions with distinct personalities and cultures and the writing doesn’t fit the setting.

Note to self: Stop opening Delfaux threads.

Is Pyromancer back on WoW? Did he get exiled from the FF14 community after his little Lalafell chair tantrum?

I thought it was funny how he baby rage left wow after it was confirmed the titans weren’t actually God’s just robot aliens

its more funny when you realize the dude the threads about threw a hissy fit and destroyed his room and wow books over the SL story when he moved to ff14

Pyromancer also had a freak out because people treat the childlike race in FFXIV like children.

I’d have a hard time listening to the guy after his high chair hijinks.

You actually had me until you said

thus proving you are nothing but an insane troll making attention-grabbing ramblings of no value.

Sounds like a you problem tbh, Khadgar is great and I wish for 500% more of him in the next expansion.

Sounds like a very stable and emotionally mature person.

Now that’s finally getting metal

Lalafel creep me out, they look like porcelain children!

Yes I KNOW they’re adults, but when something looks like a Hummel is flirting with my refrigerator of a Roegadyn Bro, it’s weird.

People say they shouldn’t bug me since I like Goblins and Gnomes; that’s because they actually look like adults rather than weird children.

Also Lalafel, I found this out a week ago, get more erotic messages than Viera (leggy bunny gals and guy) or Miqo’te (cat people) and that terrifies me

Who the hell cares about what the tool who had a meltdown because the lore didn’t go with his terrible fan fic, and threw a tantrum on stream destroying tons of merch because of it, has to say about anything?

If you want to draw a comparison to WoW, then they are comparable to greedy and cunning goblins, with some exceptions, of course. In fact, the stories about them are quite good, but in terms of appearance… I agree with you 100%.
I like FF14, but I wish they would just delete that race and replace it with another.

I am not in the least surprised that many consider them as toddlers even when they are adults and artificially get worked up about it, as Pyro did… well…

I play FF14, they still creep me out because of their uncanny valley porcelain look.

Man I can’t stand Pyromancer. Some of the stuff he highlights and talks about can be interesting but he’s so bad at delivering it, it’s so hard to listen to him talk.

I think his biggest problem is that his daughter came along and started berating him for not being around… when he literally sacrificed everything and lives in constant torment while managing to hold off the eradication of all life on Azeroth… but her daddy issues were more important to the writers.

He literally spent half of SL apologizing to people who should have been put in their place. Bolvar should be viewed as a hero, instead what we got was “you know dad, you kind of weren’t there so you should feel like garbage.” Kiddo, it’s the World of Warcraft, most people don’t have parents, get over it.

The writers were so incredibly tone deaf with that character. Their view of how a relationship or how a father daughter dynamic should unfold is so incredibly unrealistic. It’s like Hallmark Movie Channel quality bad writing, with terrible cliches and a very terrible surface level understanding of human relationships.

He’s another character that was done very poorly in SL. In DF they actually developed him in an interesting way and I actually kind of like him now.

Yeah, this is another example of the writers just not understanding how characters should act. Realistically if Blizzard set things up better then Anduin crying could have been a powerful scene… instead it was done poorly because they skipped all the build up, all the points of tension… he literally went off to the Maw and came back a blubbering mess… we need to see why he’s a mess otherwise people will justifiably make fun of him or at least be confused.

Can kick rocks.

It’s like she’s a reaction by Blizzard to people that called Sylvanas a Mary Sue. “Oh, you think Sylvanas is a Mary Sue? Well, here’s a literal one!”

She’s a terrible character, but the writers will probably use her to shift the Horde or Forsaken in a direction that the fans do not like. What they could do is make her evil, that’d be interesting and much more complex than Wonder Barbie.

That has never been a thing with Darkspear or Zandalari Trolls in WoW. It was one of the things that Thrall insisted the Darkspear give up as a prerequisite to Joining the Horde in WC3 which they gladly did and the Zandalari have always looked down on it. Only the enemy tribes practice cannibalism.

Bolvar wasnt the lich king anymore no helmet no edgyness. Did he forget he was the goodest boy before falling to the plague/dragons fire?

Oh hell no I just read that forced meme name for next expansion. Muted

So the Horde is anti cannibalism but okay with the Forsaken?

What about sacrificing individual to their loa?
