Pyre / Volatility

I understand they’ve been tweeking Pyre’s spell damage (between 150% to 400%) to make it usable as a main spender for both aoe and single target situations.

This is feasible provided you spec into the Flameshapper Hero Talent tree, because it’s effects synergies with pyre and other fire spells.

A single pyre dealing 400% spell damage was obviously to much base damage. Currently, the the damage of pyre is down to 150% which as is stands is too low.

My solution, however, is NOT TO BUFF Pyre’s spell damage. The ideal solution is to do what I’ve suggested before and to allow the VOLATILITY Talent to proc off of a single target. This would make pyre useful in single target situations again without affecting it’s aoe damage or having to rebuff Pyre’s base spell damage.

This change would balance pyre in both single target and aoe combat without making too powerful or too weak in either situation.

It’s the ideal solution, please consider it.
