Hi, I am here to complain about high level PvPers going to low leveling zones and. bullying players who are just trying to quest. Can you do something about this? I am alliance and horde players seem to think this is fun but it’s not for other people. I can’t even get into the town I need to get to with out being one shot. Thank you.

There’s an in-game solution to your issue Hammertown!
Simply go to any rested exp area in the game, open the Talents Interface, and make sure the two crossed swords in the bottom right are not highlighted.

Yes I know how to activate and unactivate PvP but I want to battle people near my level… there are 120+ high ranking PvP players scouting out level 20 zones and such… this is rediculous

Battlegrounds do that for you, they exclude everyone who would otherwise one shot you!

Guys I think you’re missing my point. I do battlegrounds on my main and it’s fun. But it’s not fun when I am trying to level a new alt and these jerkoffs come and one shot you because they think it’s funny.

Warmode gives everyone a target over their heads! (And that’s why ALL my Alts, Horde and Alliance, level without it!)

I level all my alts with it if someone ganks me I just come back, if they kill me again … I’ll watch an episode of some show on Netflix…then come back 
If they are STILL there, kudos on their determination, I’ll change zones.

I love BG’s, and World PvP used to be my favourite thing about WoW, but somehow WM just seems like anxiety fest to me.
Unfortunately, while people as exist in this thread still exist, there will be no modicum of a good world PvP experience for leveling characters. Griefing people who can’t fight back is why they participate and they defend it loudly.
I’d love for PvP to be relevant in open world too, but it simply won’t happen, so it’s better to just turn it off.

Level with WM on and you aren’t a rogue or a paladin that can buddle hearth away and your gonna have a VERY bad time. In fact even if you are a rogue or paladin that can bubble hearth. You are libel to get one shot.
I mean, ganking has happened for how many years? Level up a toon in Classic and it’s the same (but actually worse)

I can’t think of any level 20 zone that has alliance and horde levelling in it tbh. Best to level through other zones or turn warmode off until after you pass the level 20 zones as that’s where boring people take out their aggression on new players/fresh allied race players.

Because it has been has zero bearing on what it could or should be. Many bad practices exist in the world simply because it’s the way it has been.
