Insane dude. You must truly like this game lol. I gotta commend you on doing this. I wish I had the time to invest. Not to say it only takes time, multiclassing this many is surely difficult. /clap
To the rest/OP, I’ve only done the boomy one (naturally) but I was able to do it in 4 tries. I used all pvp gear save for the quantum device trinket. I used no food or pots of any kind. All slands stuff and just flasked. I think I used that shadow oil weapon stuff too. Basically stuff I didn’t need to reapply
That said I definitely don’t want them to nerf anything unless other specs have it significantly harder or something. Challenge rewards should be challenging. May be vain, sure, but the exclusivity is what makes it even more worth it. I welcome the tears of gen discussion.
The SV is def annoying. The first part is pretty easy, the second part just seems like a dumb dps race and I keep coming up short. That said, only spent an hour on it. Some parts are buggy. Like when you have to jump and disengage out of the ice. I wait for the stun to end, position for the best path, jump… still get stopped mid air.
I get having difficulty, but the ‘hard’ part is just the end and it’s exceedingly annoying to get to. Also, if your pet gets aggro, even with growl off, the run is ruined.
I want this to be difficult for the sake of execution, but it still seems lacking.
Yeah i actually stopped using rep and just hoj’d Sig, kited enrages, and warstomped bladestorms to line a period of time up with wings where I could triple cleave interrupted and that’s how I finally beat it.
On the destro one, which I believe is one of the easier, u can tell you used to have grimoire: fel hunter (2 kicks, one on a 1.5 min cd) because about every 1.5 min u basically have to prefear the Tauren, if ur caught on global, even at 30% haste he will get the cast off. It’s pretty frustrating because you can tell these encounters are tuned for legion class design.
They should’ve literally just put us into legion for this, like talk to chromie, get ur artifact weapon with whatever traits you would’ve had in early tomb and normalized gear to about heroic tomb level, to where it is still pretty challenging but feels fair. Just kind of annoying how many times I’ve been caught on global from a conflagration and died to that odd 1.5 min cast.

But Blizzard consistently mistakes “dumb” with “hard”. There is a difference between something being challenging and something being stupid.
A lot of them are really good but some of them are just flat out dumb. During Sigryn, after literally playing perfectly for 5 minutes, the three bosses start overlapping their one shots as the valykries are coming out, and if you dont’ inevitably die to that, they do it again right after it. So that forces you to go to old expacs and exploit cheese items to outdamage the one shots to complete it.
Anything that forces players to farm old world items to break the scaling in order to do it is just dumb. Sigryn would be a fine fight and is really challenging if it just keeps up with it’s normal pace, but for no reason the mobs start pressing all their buttons at once and it’s just stupid.
