PvP: Why Are PvE Procs all the Damage?

People don’t even have to play their classes right now. Weapon procs and essences are doing everything they need for them.

Damage in order:

327k from Cut of Death.
122k from an Essence.
100k from an actual ability.
59k from an auto attack

Bring back actual abilities to make people play their classes. Gear shouldn’t be doing it for them.

Oh, I can tel you why. Furry is literally 4 buttons, so they have to compensate for the damage loss from removing half the abilities, so in turn they hit harder. I don’t play warrior because of that. It’s more boring than BM Hunter. Blame the class designers.

It’s not just DPS. Look at a Holy Priest’s healing breakdown. Most of the time it’s going to be Echo of Light (our passive mastery) doing the most healing. If it’s not the first, 9 times out of 10 it’s the second.

Simple answer:

Because PvP doesn’t matter. (Nor should it.)

They made everything passive because rotations were “hard”.
