I can’t imagine using a discord server would make that much better.
It’s just the logical extension of every Alliance text chat bg I’ve ever been in. I was even in a leveling dungeon the other day where I got flashbacks to bg chat.

I never want to, but a lot of groups require it and I obviously can’t be too choosey if I expect to get my spider one day.
Do discord instead and drop everyone to 10% volume

VC is a boon with decent people. I refuse to use discord though so I mainly don’t use it. I don’t like that even in the wow’s vc, you can get abused, without recourse. So mainly I don’t use it. I may get a headset and still be an advocate for wow’s vc but, meh. I can prob hit 1600 RBGs with good typing communication so… that’s about the level I want to be anyway, NoBigDeal.
Oo! My bro and I did RBGs for about 2 weeks, to a month, I don’t recall exactly but. Got my spider thanks to him putting groups together and just doing it every day for a while. No VC required! Just might need to get a lucky someone to set up your groups for you or do it yourself. It’s not too hard I’ve done it but. Meh. GL on your spider mount!
