PvP Vendors in 8.2 straw poll

What does going AFK in a BG have to do with it? Honor gear from honor points? You still needed wins for CP like you do now.

You got a certain level of honor just for participating. With honor vendors, there was value there.

Take your lumps and slowly gather honor pieces, then with a full set start being able to win more often and buy the purple pieces.

There was a logical order to it, you felt like you were part of a community supported “plan”. Now it’s just “do randoms and if you want better don’t balk at rated”.

You could be 840 in a day. That’s equivalent to honor geared with the scaling.

How is having vendors worse than what we have now in any way? Or, conversely, how is not having vendors better?

I am confused why anyone would vote no in this.

I can understand a few “it’s fine as it is” votes but “no” votes?

We got a lot more votes than I thought we would ever get I still think for Blizzard to even take notice we would have to get up around 8K mark.

I made this poll mostly for fun and see if others felt the way I did about PVP vendors and just maybe a blizzard employee would see it and pass it along.

the devs are 100% dead set on having pve gear matter was reading arena forums other day that new raid comes out I think this week? and those items have insanely op buffs

They still do. Void stone, Polearm etc. are still OP as hell and is game breaking in arena.

we still have to raid to be competitive in PvP? I just resubbed and this already is a buzzkill. Why Blizzard?

There are more PvE players - that’s where the money is.

Blizzards never gonna listen to the PVP community over to PVE community.

This. We’re a very small group of people here that like pvp and want to have a say in how we choose our gear / optimize.

I Miss WOTLK years. We had PVP vendors, Vendors from the big Open world pvp conquest if we won control over the building. these vendors helped a ton in enchanting and gaining starting off gear as you enter the world of pvp.

We had big talent trees.
We had Glyphs that were class focused, not all around the same.
we had the ability to trade stats in our own gear to what we desire.

So much potential. Coming back to last month of legion and BFA after Quitting wow at the end of Wrath has made me so sad. This game lost what made it so good in pvp. everything feels so boring and the same… Nothing to do, no control over your own char.

Agreed. I miss Wotlk the most. I really really miss reforging AND gemming.

Back in the day when most mages were running crit me and my buddy was running haste and made it work it was great.

Well, this has been addressed in a couple different q&a’s so it’s not like they don’t know people want vendors. Therefore, blues seeing it really isn’t saying much.
