I’m leveling in BGs. I have a question about the Theft’s Bargain talent. Is it worth taking? 15 second CD on Vanish seems incredibly useful but 15% less HP is a lot considering in PvP you usually want as much HP as you can get. I’m leaning towards no.
No.
Current PVP is high burst meta. If it slow down again like it did in BFA then maybe.
Also, you have to remember that in legion and BFA Sub had poor damage and people were willing to compromise a lot to eek out as much damage as possible to make Sub passable for casual play.
Right now Sub’s damage in PVP is more than good enough and doesn’t need to rely on a gimmicky talent like TB.
But you can try it and decide for yourself!
I’m actually working to test this a bit using thiefs bargain and the Inv Shadowdust leggo (vanish reduces cd on abilities by 20s)
And shadows leggo (vanish grants 5cps and +dmg by 16% for 12s)
In arena it can actually be insane.
Our squishyness makes it questionable. But I’m really curious how these things work together.
You’re 100% not wrong considering it.
Invigorating shadowdust is very underrated. But it is not noticed currently due to bursty meta.
At one point Invigorating shadowdust was so strong in beta that it instantly reset Crimson Vial. I think it still does reset the CD on Feint based on its current CDR percentage.
Its always been well received by arena rogues. Its just things like 100%crit leggo make ppl set priorities since trying to bag a few different leggos are locked behind soulash. Rn I have 2 at 210? And 225.
Probably should have chilled on upgrading to ensure a third leggo
Just to be clear it reduces vanish to 1 min 15 sec not 15 sec. if it was 15 sec there would be no question that you take it.
Meta will change in later seasons and I think you are right!
My bad. I thought Vanish’s original CD was 1 minute.
