Hello everyone I hope you are all in good health today,
I am here to see what you guys would think if Blizzard decided to add effects to pvp tabards, allow me to explain what I mean.
A simple example would be the mage tower Feral Druid form, when it moves it has sparkle mist that follows behind it and when its still then nothing.
Another example is the new Rogue shoulders in 9.2 when you move the shoulders have parts that break apart and come back together when you are no longer in motion.
So imo I feel like adding an in motion effect on the tabards would be something neat and make pvp tabards some what cool again. It would also benefit BM hunters MM hunters, Feral druids. as pvp enchants can’t work on bows/guns and well Feral claws.
Something as simple as a mist of reddish blood would follow you when you move or light or void etc.
If it’s a bad idea then cool tell me and i’ll apologize but if you guys think it’s something worth while maybe Blizzard will do something along the lines.
We all know the pvp tabards have been lacking so Idk I just want to spice them up.

i think you’ve got a good idea here. i’m all about it
i wish they’d reward cosmetic glyphs for certain rating brackets
there’s a lot of cool things they can do with glyphs just look at things like green fire or old ascendance “elemental form”
warriors fire path charge thing ect
lots of cool unique cosmetic things they can do that could also inspire people to play alts past class set ratings
which is a big win for the ladder

I like this idea as long as you can still hide the tabard and get the effect
Sadly the word is that Glyph of Ascendance can’t return because Ascendance is now a talent and not a core ability. Miss it for sure

I’d love to see account-wide but spec and season specific unlockable cosmetics. Glyphs would be cool. Even just a tabard with a spec specific logo, or an option to customize that little honor level icon that no one pays attention to. That way if you got rating on a spec when it was considered a hard season for that spec you could flex it even on other classes/characters (and it might encourage people to play off-meta specs more).

Lol. Verifying correct sets is hard work apparently. I mean how can they keep track of 5 colors!?! It’s to daunting of a task for any one human

They’ll get added to something years later as “new” content.
Same as the recolored sets for mage tower that already were in the game files. Nothing says FUN more then reused assets!!

Maybe, but they’ll probably remove the armor, which would be…fine, honestly. BFA started the trend of having gladiator mounts whose base form is unobtainable.
The only other bungle is that the wotlk drakes are unarmored, whereas the ICC meta ones are, so I’m curious as to what happened there.
I think they’ll do mop cm timewalking eventually, which could be super cool.
