Is SE being so hard the intended cover up so players forget about pvp? could have easily took 2 bgs from retail and added it. could have updated rank 14 gear or added rank 15 and 16 and gave us a pvp grind. Could have fixed wsg exploits and honor rewards. Could have gave us 2 of the retail BGs. Once we get full SE gear what do we do just stare at the wall until the next week ?

PVP “grinds” make PVP worse, every time. Look at anniversary. Nobody is actually participating, to the point they get mass reported if they try. PVP never should have had material rewards. If you need motivation beyond fun to PVP, there’s a problem with the PVP and the player base.
Imagine if every Counter Strike server was an afk skin collection server. That’s what MMO PVP with material rewards are. It’s objectively bad for the game, because it only asks players for their time and not their participation. The number of BGs existing is a fake number.
PvP definitely needs some long term love. On a personal level I’d also like to see changes that make AV and WSG both desirable on their respective weekends, maybe new rep rewards/boosted honor?
That is why I don’t really understand the draw for PVE at all. The only reason I would do PVE for gear is so I am not undergeared compared to my PVP competition.
Same with the people who BG just to get a rank then stop BGing, the ones who would just let horde win in AB because muh honor per hour. Like if you don’t care about competing, why care about the rank?
To each their own for sure, just doesn’t make sense to me.

been calling for extra bgs added and a random queue option for extra honor for a long time, so easy to do and would help solve this boring as heck 3 bg rotation.
3 BG rotation? When is the last time AV popped? Even WSG rarely pops. Its basically a 1bg rotation lol
There are so many things to do make it better. Make the blood moon gear purchasable for reels… Give us a nice crafted pvp set with a ton of stam and decent weapons… Take advantage of us being on the modern client and rotate twin peaks or modern bg’s into the mix… Instead of a blanket damage reduction, they need to do a class by class pass and tweak the damage they do against players.
Lol that sounds like another reason not to play regular classic, the community sucks.
I feel like this is something that extends to the PvE area as well. They should have added more things to do during the week so we’re not just raid logging. Hopefully in classic+ they’ll add more things for us to do during the week that aren’t just gold farming or doing BGs just to do BGs.
The pvp gear is trash, nobody uses it becuase the pve set bonuses/trinkets/weapon procs are all cracked af in pvp compared to the dog scat pvp gear.
MoM gets an no icd aoe stun proc while HWL weapons get a 5% damage reduction? get bent.
Yeah the only classes I see that still consistently use PvP gear(or at least some of it) are Warriors and Mages.
And yeah MoM proc really needs an icd because its currently better than all the SE weapons except Ashbringer in PvP.
I actually use 4pc dragonslayer and the rest PVP gear but that is just because I hate raiding. Having roughly 10k health is nice, just not as bursty.
