Caught a group win trading in a BGB earlier, healer refused to heal and would pull people off of objectives preventing them from capping them, the dps the healer was queued with would pretend to defend but was giving the bases to the feral druid and a healer on the other team. At one point the warrior started grab the flag at the center run to the enemy base then drop the flag so that the druid that had been stealthed could pick it up.

Arena is a for sure way to climb cr if you have the right skill. People don’t fluke their way to 1800cr in arena and beyond. But in blitz…you either get a losing streak or you fluke out and get a winning streak. It’s so rng it’s not even funny. It’s basically like going to the casino

I did along with some others in the game. One of the other players had already been in a BGB with them before except it was the two on the other team throwing likely they were trying to keep the rating balanced. This was a 1730 team average match so they climbed pretty far doing it.

Adding in that the forum trolls are most likely those doing the carries.
Just do a quick browser search for “wow PvP rating carry.” There are at least 5 sites offering it, which spell out how they queue sync to get you rating.
Best solution I have seen is to no longer have an enter button and instead just put you in the first match available. Add an are you still there button you have to mash every minute or two to prevent the afk from entering.
This is happening, and it’s really brutal for those who enjoy PvP.

They could do this too. Except they won’t because they already know it’s true, they are most likely the ones doing it. These sites even offer rating in blitz. It’s obvious that the only way they can do that is que syncing?
But now they will call you one of my alts. lol. Hope you don’t mind.

it is really not happening, maybe there’s 1 dps that is playing with them to boost them? But its an 8 person game lol, its not a prevalent issue.

Hi i just dropped into say ive pushed past duelist on 2 healers and 1 dps so far in blitz.
Sure it has its up and downs but if you arent toxic to the community (because you will see them again and be remembered) and you play consistent you will climb in this game mode easily.
I see strong duo ques carrying but the sketchy stuff ive seen doesnt even compare to my dragonflight solo shuffle experience. Id also note that i only ever play bgb solo and have no friends to lean on in game.

Why would the quality of games be impacted by that?

Not at all. Any who do probably need to get mental help for an excess of paranoia.
You see the same rage boys all the time and even people that are pushing up with you. Its really not in your best interest to rage out when it doesnt go your way because youll probably meet again.
When I see the dudes that talk trash to everyone when we lose in games it just gives you that extra little edge to want to take points from them.

ooooh i can answer that - i ate a week long mute, and you aren’t able to use the ping system while muted. So things like defending bases/calling for incs isnt possible. So does definitely make things harder.

And what might we glean from this mentality about the behavior of people’s high MMR, low CR alts (who stand to lose no rating until those numbers equalize) towards “mains” of people who they dislike (sometimes people forge rivalries over things other than “rage”)
