I am wondering if it is better to be ret with the 4set bonus (iLvl 450 in pvp) or should I just get the new green pvp gear (iLvl 476 in pvp).
What are all your thoughts?
I should have the new 2 set bonus in a couple of days anyway.
Get the new PvP gear.
- Purchase 1 set piece with Conquest, convert it to tier with the Catalyst. (gloves or shoulders as its the least expensive)
- Get 1600 and purchase a piece of tier with the Token they reward you. (Pants, Chest or Helm as its the most expensive)
- Do the Sparks of Life weekly this week and next week for the Trophies of Strife, then purchase the Epic HellBloom 2hander from the Dragon in the PvP Vendor Area.

- Fill Vault and hope for a Tier piece you don’t have (or wait.)
- Save Conquest to make sure you finish 4 piece once the 2nd Catalyst charge is ready. (assuming you get tier from vault)

The Spark of Life weekly quest is not showing up. Is there a pre req for that to be able to get it?
Don’t believe so, I think you have to have War Mode on in order to see the NPC tho.
Don’t worry about tier for pvp as a ret. It’s an actual dps loss to have the 4 set vs stacking mastery/vers. I am getting the mastery/vers armor but I’m not making tier out of it. I’m using the sparks for crafted gear.
Edit the honor gear for s3 is better than tier for s2 dps wise.
