Inevitably Blizzard is going to tie best-in-slot PvE gear/progression into PvP rewards - like they did with Conflict and Strife/Blood of the Enemy.
Moving forward could we get those rewards from PvP Pet Battles rather than BGs and Arena? Its just that Pet battles have far more compelling gameplay, and it isn’t even close really.

PVP pet battles are arguably more balanced and reasonable than PVP right now.
No don’t get me wrong, they aren’t well designed.
They’re just better designed than bgs and arenas.

Erm - most people don’t aim for rank 2 essences or sub-optimal essences. Especially if you raid mythic or do high keys.

Exactly! That’s why I should be able to get my essences from pet battles.
I’m assuming this is trolling, but PvP players have to do way more than pve’ers do to get bis stuff just to PvP right now.

Oh no, don’t get me wrong. I think its crappy for the pvp players that have to do m+ etc to get competitive. I think the game would be better if we could both stay in our lanes and I didn’t have to do WSG for the 50 millionth time to stay competitive in PVE.

You can literally play with your feet to 1800 for rank 3, it’s minor inconvenience at worst.
Yeah - but knowing that blizz won’t do that - and they will force PvE players to PvP and vice versa - I would like Pet Battles to join the PvP roster so I can play something slightly less terrible.
Hopefully they actually listen to the community this time on this subject when Shadowlands comes out
I really don’t think it would be hard for them to do it, they just need to actually do it. Make it like how it was in MoP and WoD. You pve for what you need in pve and PvP for what you need in PvP.
