Blizzard in the past acknowledged how bad of a choice it was to gate gear behind rating and from the end of Wrath to WoD we had THE BEST pvp gearing system. And you removed it, you removed it because I guess your new game director (who never touched ANYTHING rated) decided he was going to reverse a choice that made the PVP community thrive in this game for years and years.
You guys are going to KILL the PVP community way worse then in Legion and BfA with this. You are not fooling anyone by bringing back gear vendors. Running keystones takes NOT WHERE NEAR AS LONG as getting Duelist.
remove rating gating or make it reasonable
Maybe I’m misunderstanding but as a raider to me it seems pvp gear got way better than it used to be, since you can choose which slot you get now at mythic ilvl. Like at least for mythic raiders pvping for gear actually got better than it was in BFA. For example if my guild kills 5 mythic bosses week 1, we get 15 items for a roster of 26 people. But if we all pvp we can in addition to that get 26 rings of mythic ilvl ( maybe 2.1k will be too tough week one but we can save conquest and after a few weeks upgrade the items), which is almost twice as many items as we got from raid.
Also pvp gear might end up being best for pvp, you get 40% vers bonus from pvp trinkets and all of pvp gear has a lot of vers.
Easy fix for this: make the cap 1k per week or something close. 550 is way too low.
And NOTHING the first week.
You can get bracers or a cloak rofl.
Cap should be at least 700 imo, and or scaling with rating.
Forcing PvE on players that want to PvP? Again? Really blizz? Is it that hard to please your audience?
I’m sorry, permanently ahead? Did you read somewhere on here that the pvp ilvl isn’t an equivalent ilvl to heroic raiding / mythic raiding at certain rating thresholds? You DO understand that eventually you will catch up with strictly pvp, right? You can’t honestly be dense enough to think that a heroic/mythic raider is going to be permanently ahead of people who eventually acquire duelist / rival level gear which has the SAME ITEM LEVEL. The only thing this provides is a temporary advantage to pvpers who also have the capability of clearing heroics very early. It’s not a permanent edge, read more carefully.
This is extremely embarrassing. Such a good way to sh*t on your players. Time gate us more, please.

I definitely think it does. Regardless as long as it exists and gives equal to or better gear than what most people will be getting in PvP for much less effort, Conquest needs to be fairly generous for it to be a reasonable progression path. At least raids and M+ are both PvE content.
They could just stop being stubborn and give us PvP iLevel scaling or a PvP stat and be done with this apparently mystifying problem.
The primary purpose of these changes is to benefit mythic raiders who might want to dabble in PvP if there’s enough reward to keep them motivated.
How about instead of screwing the pvp community over you do something about the plebs selling m+ carrys all damn day
Token sales for paid carries are a big profit center now. This will increase that. So no, that’s not going away.
They’re not forcing PVE on you, you can literally JUST PVP! You won’t have the gear as fast, which is meaningless as the season progresses and evens out anyway. Heroic Castle Nath = 220 ilvl. Rival rating = 220 ilvl. Mythic Castle Nath = 226 ilvl (with the exception of final bosses being 233). Duelist ilvl = 226 ilvl. Please explain your logic in accusing Blizzard of forcing PVE on you.
Cap of conquest per week need be 875 minimum. There is NO REASON we shouldnt be able buy a big peices each week.
So instead we get our weapon 9 weeks into the season… ok buddy.

From what I’ve seen the weapon 1300 Conquest points. The problem is that in order to earn the right to buy a weapon you need to get a achievement of acquiring at least 5000 conquest points.
Dude is literally 10 weeks to get a decent weapon,u literally can get a weapon killing a boss in 1 week lmao
And 5 months to get full gear,imagine getting full gear at the end of the season
