All Citrine Gems are now Available

The hotfix went live to all realms at 6:30 p.m. PST.

Today, we’re working to update the game with a hotfix that will make all of the Singing Citrines available on Siren Isle, allowing players to acquire all of them in the current week.

The system was originally designed to have different Citrines be associated with different enemy cultures as they invaded Siren Isle on a rotating basis, but having to wait for a specific invasion type in order to obtain your Citrine of choice has felt like it’s creating more frustration than anticipation.

The gems belonging to the goblins, Arathi, and Earthen should come from doing events on the isle that are started at the Siren Isle Command Map. After getting them once, you’ll be able to buy them and store them in your Warbank for your alts as usual.

The gems that belong to enemy factions should now be purchasable from Taljori, the Tortollan vendor sitting on the large rock behind Bargus.

Happy holidays!

sure, but unless you already had a 639 bis ring there’s a good chance this will be an upgrade even right now with the right gems in it

Exactly what I was asking for. Santa came early.

It’s all but guaranteed to be better even if you have a 639 ring.

actually this 642 ring is a 100k dps downgrade (in single target) from my 626 ring with actual stats on it. (and an even bigger downgrade when i farm enough crests to craft a 636 ring with actual stats)

yeah but i don’t want to scare anyone who thinks it’s garbage now because it’ll be better later

Good job fixing this so quick and for listening.

Is this with optimal gems or currently available gems?

I believe they’ve promised no core borrowed power features.

All gear is borrowed power anyway.

Its no more a borrowed power system than adding embellishments to your crafted gear. Calm down

Called it that being stuck with a healing gem this week was an oversight and that something would be hotfixed.

Could you please fix the warband? It’s not working properly

I guess you missed the part where people were complaining about having to wait weeks for certain gems… and they listened and added them to a vendor lol.

3 days after it went live mind you.

That’s not with the best dps gems.

Thank you so much this is such an amazing change and quality of life boost. I understand the idea and I think it could’ve been fun if it were ilvl upgrades / a smaller power gain compared to the negative power gain of the ring in its week one state.

I really appreciate that the team is listening to feedback and i hope all the staff at blizz have a wonderful holiday

You’ll replace it with a hero ring week 1/2 of next season. This isn’t a legendary grind or remotely close to it where it’s for a small subset of specs who are actually balanced around it.

You’re blowing it way out of proportion, and I’m not sure it’s intentional to amuse yourself or not so I’m not going to try convincing you further.
