Realm Restarts Scheduled — Wednesday May 1

Tomorrow at 7:00 a.m. PDT, we will perform realm restarts on all Cataclysm Classic realms to pick up hotfixes, including a hotfix for talents appearing where they shouldn’t.

When you next log in thereafter, all of your talents will be reset, and will need to be reassigned.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

I hope you also fix the issue where we can’t leave instances unless we type /Script LeaveParty()". It’s rather annoying.

I mean I just made a worgen warlock and i have to do the immolate quest. I trained it at the trainer and it is absent from my spellbook. Why wait for tomorrow? reset the servers tonight! I mean I can’t even play the character I made because the spells are bugged.

The spell should still work via /cast Immolate in chat. if it does work you could try a macro as a work around until the fix is in

Just put us back in Wrath Era

It’s a visual error so making macros as a workaround does work.

Don’t forget to include #showtooltip too :dracthyr_comfy_green:

What were you testing during the alpha or beta? even more SoD fixes? this is literally on beta state than a candidate to be released for the public…

It was the occasion for a bit of humor tho - early in an SM run just now someone asked “Does anyone know the command to leave?”

Another player said “Yes.” And then 10 sec later they were booped out of the party from forgetting to add a space or . before typing it lol

some spells too unless im blind where’s holy shock for hpal? lol

Is there a list anywhere that shows all the hotfixes you’re planning?

I’d like to know if heirloom prices are among them – On Wowhead, I’m seeing 1H weapons for only 348 Justice Points, though ingame they’re all 2,175 or higher. Some 2-handed weapons are 3,500 which is almost the entire Justice Point cap, meaning no one is going to be able to (reasonably) afford heirloom pieces until the actual expansion launch.

I’m hoping this is a bug and it gets fixed soon. There’s no reason why heirlooms should cost more points than ilvl 264 raiding gear. :frowning:

folks this is what happens when content is rushed out and not tested THOROUGHLY. Emergency hotfixes. This is the new standard of game developers these days.

this was known before cata was launched though. Multiple videos showed that heirloom prices would be much more expensive come cata. They advised to buy heirlooms for emblems.

Sure, I could’ve been more prepared. But I was prepared to spend the Justice Points listed on Wowhead’s Cataclysm database for the heirlooms. Nowhere did I see any warning that single heirlooms were going to cost almost the entire Justice Point cap. That seems like a bug to me.

Pretty sure the costs on wowhead are just flat out wrong

That’s been a joke since 2004.

“How do I leave a guild?”

Someone always falls for it.

Maybe so. Either way, I’m asking for clarification here. 348 Justice Points (as listed on Wowhead) seems reasonable. 3,500 / 4,000 Justice Points for a single 1-80 heirloom seems like it must be a mistake.

Missing spells, some bugs need to be squashed. Is there an ETa? Thank you

Look into / fix resil please. I don’t think it’s reducing dmg correctly.

No, thats correct

eh i dont think 348 is reasonable that actually super cheap. Thats like 2 weekly raid quests. Pretty sure you couldn’t get an heirloom for 20 emblems. I think they should be roughly 1500 JP for weapons and 1000 for armors/trinkets. The thing is though we’ve had how long to buy heirloom gear? Like a year? JP acquisition will be much higher once we hit 85 and are doing the content. I’m sure originally the dev’s thought process back then was you’ve had time to aquire heirlooms , why would someone wait till cata prepatch to buy heirlooms. They want you to buy those when you’re max level and thats why they seem so expensive right now.
