That’s cool, but any news on the physical CE?

Hm. Not sure how I feel about that.

Being part of an expansion bundle is one thing, but being able to just buy your way past a rep grind is kind of icky.

That is certainly a decision someone made.

Feels dirty doesn’t it? You put the time in to get the accomplishments and they slap a credit card down to catch right up.

But does it really matter? It’s not max rep, it’s mostly cosmetics and it gets you straight into the current content.

We once got bumped up professions with character boosts and an unlocked Garrison without having to go through the questline to unlock it.

This is only going to be a big deal for returning players or new players; anyone who has been playing DF and has a bunch of alts most likely has like a stockpile of BoA rep tokens

It’s the end of the expansion, meh. Let people skip all the old rep grinds and get right into the current content.

I’m holding out for the Mega Ultra Super Duper version.

Still waiting to use mine if pandaladins become a thing soon.

I mean I guess not in the grand scheme of things. It just feels weird.

Another to add to the collection.

On a long enough timeline almost all non-seasonal rewards in this game become free anyway. The people who got the most actual benefit from maxing out their reputations are the people who did it early.

“All NPC craftable Tuskarr Fishing Gear unlocked”

Excuse me? … ?!!

( I’ve still only fully accomplished that on a single character :frowning: )

Lol that’s more rep than I have on my main. Nice

I feel like old reps that aren’t maxed for some cosmetics is okay, since we once got professions bumped up and skipped entire questlines, gold, etc to get a Garrison and whatnot.

Yes it does matter.

Cosmetics on the shop or cosmetics on the Trader’s post are one thing. But to slap a credit card and get all of the grindable stuff in game just given to you.

That’s 100% pay to win, and sleazy as heck. What is this? Fortnite.

Good idea start selling rep bundled with Tendies. Things have been dirty here for a long time now…

How is it given to you? They’re unlocked. You still need the mats and currency to buy them.

… how are cosmetics in any way, shape or form pay to win?? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

You could say this about every single catch up mechanic in the game. The rep isn’t relevant to literally anything, so who cares.
