there is a real problem with the expectations of players and the fact that no solo q is in i work a night job so i can only be on 2-3 hours a day more on weekends but i cant ever get into and rbg im 1600CR/1600XP/24%VERS and no one will accpect me to a group so i can advance and if i do get in a group its because i qd for a lowbie group and they end in 2 games and the cycle continues i hate spending the 2-3hrs i have a day JUST LOOKING FOR A GROUP i feel like im making no progress and im just having less fun with the game as i log on each day the meta is very one sided right now as only Bdruid/Affy locks/Spriest/Eshaman are meta for casters. I played a hunter and its what i have fun on i dont feel like taking my time to level and gear a whole new toon i probably wont even have fun on and have to start all over again blizzard this has been a problem for years and its the reason i keep unsubbing for months-years and coming back in hopes its better but the class balancing is so bad even the small changes your doing i dont think is enough as hpal has been a bit over tuned for too long as has druid im not sure how to end this but i just really felt like i needed to make a post
You just described the entire expansion in a nutshell.
Please end your ban of the enter key. Also, these are the arena forums. Please take your concerns to the proper place.
As a fellow Hunter main I feel your pain. Once you hit 1400cr people start to take their rating a little more serious and that is when you start feeling the squeeze. I made a Pally alt and have no problems getting groups.
Other annoying things I have seen are people with groups titles like pushing 1600 with gear requirement of 210+. Being >1400 but pushing 1600 one would expect the players to be 207ish.
Great, Clownlol showed up to gatekeep the dead MMO forums kek
I like this guy
Lying about your XP helps.
Say you’re 2700xp EU Multi Glad and that you’re the best flag sitter this side of the Mississippi
Ta da problem solved
This is a real problem in arena too, 95% of the game is sitting in toxic trash lfg instead of playing ranked SoloQ like every modern game has
Its because of your experience. Sure your gear and vers are fine… but with only 1600 xp in RBGS most teams will pass on you. Thats just the way it is. PvP is not for casuals and Blizzard has made it clear. I wish it were difference. But that is the way it goes
Make your own group
Wow has been so crap lately that I have gotten a few certs for work out of boredom.
Didn’t need them but might as well since logging in and grinding this pos game out is just frustrating af. Imagine having ksm and wearing 9 pieces of pvp gear because blizz can’t do their job right.
Random rant over.
100%
I’ve stopped caring / playing.
I’ve honestly found single player games on the Switch 100000x more enjoyable, and didn’t feel like I needed to accomplish X,Y,Z to be competent, or play X class for X activity.
You might be the real winner out of all this, while we’re just playing this trash xpac you actually made use of yourself in that time.
+1 to you ![]()
Yea the game honestly feels like it’s preparing to become a mobile game MMO with all the grindy mechanics, and the sad part is that PvP was something a lot of people genuinely valued because despite boosting being a thing, the achievement of getting the title/enchant/mount was the main goal.
But now PvP has just turned into a gear based system where people only PvP for gear and now boosting is the #1 market and you see so many glads due to how inflated and P2W it’s become.
I’m not saying this xpac is without it’s failures, but you guys are being a tad dramatic.
Maybe try to make your own groups. Or join yolo groups
YOLO groups typically don’t win past 1400
This is not true at all.
I yolod up to 1850 in a week. I haven’t done an RBG in weeks.
Found your problem, don’t do RBG. I stopped doing these in mid WoD because blizzard doesn’t police cheaters, scripters, botters hackers and those who savage my router.
All problems I rarely encountered in arena. Arena is not 100% free of its own problems, but it’s not the cesspool of depravity and elitism that are the RBG.
What you need are some nice arena players to hang out with, do some chill matches, get good as a group, learn your comp, learn the classes and all their tells, and just have a good time in the clean, pure, unadulterated place of gladiatorial combat!
I am doubting the integrity of your statement or questioning what we consider YOLO groups. I played 6 RBGs last week in decently constructed teams with my Hunter. Took forever to get those 6 games. Went 3W-3L and gained 9 points of rating. After 6 games my frustration level was maxed and didn’t queue all weekend.
A YOLO group to me is a haphazardly put together group maybe 1/3/6 makeup with gear level not a consideration. Usually made just to farm conquest.
