Is it just me or has the PvP cap in each phase been way to easy to reach and the majority of PvP enjoyers hit max rank 2-3 weeks after phase and then have little reason to PvP for months.
It would be so easy to just add extra ranks available, even make them a soft cap with 2-5x harder to earn in terms of honor. Just give me some goal to work to.

Next 4 ranks gonna need to 256k per week, but after R14 I wouldn’t mind some kind of prestige ranking that is purely cosmetic with different tabards and such.

I had rank 8/9 the day of phase 4 coming out, hit 60 and got rank 10 the following week.
You mean you had the honor prepared for the 1st Tuesday/maintenance after P4 launch.
You can’t get the Rank on a Thursday, when P4 went live.
But, yes, people who want ranks and actually strive for them know how to do it.
You get Commendation Tokens from STV, even now, to prepare for the next phase.
You stack 20 of each BG mark, and then on the Tuesday before the “Phase” goes live, you start to PvP your tail off for the rank you’re seeking.
tue-thur had the honor ready, got my rank the follow week, then did the BRM event for the free 100k honor per event if youre on a pvp server.
