the new system was clearly designed around 60s. The way its set up, as a 25 or 40 level player you can easily get rank 2 with 15 kills, then rank 3 is almost an unachievable 35k honor ish.
The old system allowed for ranking up each week, all the way up to 5 or 6 at higher levels.
considering we may be stuck at 25 for some time, the pvp system should be addressed.
I think they said they wanted to avoid low levels getting really good pvp gear. They didn’t want any rank 14 level 25s as far as I remember.
Maybe they should have some lower level pvp gear for the earlier brackets, but the lvl 60 gear should not be available until lvl 60.
yeah, i didn’t say anything about level 60 gear. Im just pointing out that the system now will just have a bunch of rank 2s running around.
there is low level gear for low ranks already in the game. we just cant rank up with the new system.
If it were up to me, I’d stretch the ranks out and make it much more of a grind. So by near the end of the first phase, people would be hitting the max rank possible for level 25.

I think two months is ample time for a 25 to hit rank 3. As phases roll out it’ll only get easier. There’s nothing to use besides a trinket and tabard at 25 anyway.
I really do not see the issue. They are adding gear to the Ashenvale vendors. You really don’t need to be beyond R2 at 25, good enough for faction trinket. Im sure each bracket will get similarly new gear added for that level bracket.

You can’t even get passed rank 3 at 25 anyway so no point in making it only take 1 week.

Because ranks are level gated. You can’t hit Rank 14 on a level 25, ever.
Did you maybe consider that 35k is a placeholder value that will be changed when the next level bracket changes?
LOL i died laughing at the people who think 35k honor is a lot. Working 10 hours a day i was still able to get about 10k honor a day. PvE players complaining they cant get the pvp gear but dont want to pvp lmfao
just level up and rank to the cap of your level. when phases are reached and you level up, level your rank
Yes, it will be crazy when people get to level 50 or 60 and can start grinding honor. Though they might buff honor gains in sod or nerf honor needed as a catch up mechanic. Not sure I will bot but with av you eventually become the bot.
