Theres been a decent amount of reports coming out how toons ranked up multiple ranks on reset day after only getting a few HKs on TOTAL the week prior. Meahwhile there were folks who grinded out 110k honor via blood moon and BGs to rank up.

Why would there be a rollback lol. They did a one time thing to help people who didn’t know about the 15kbs but used STV commendations. If it helped some people get a few of the lower easy levels by mistake its pretty much a non issue.
Haven’t heard anyone say it boosted them to rank 7. That is the only rank that matters.
Side note as someone who just farmed in in bgs if it did give some people rank 7 I would not care if they got to keep it. But getting a free rank 7 would be the only way it could possibly justify a blizzard spending any time on it.

Where is the proof of this part?
I grinded 120k honor, with 1500 HKs in world pvp and it took me from high rank 5 to 0% rank 6, when I should’ve safely been rank 7. You can’t tell me there isn’t a bug allocating ranks to the wrong people.

Yeah had a guildie even using the ranker addon and grinded to 118k at r5 and i think he said it only put him at r6 with some % when it said it was going to get him r7. Dude missed some showers for nothin. Feel bad. Hope they dont say/do nothing for you guys.

Can’t post pics. My last week’s honor says 450 HKs with 74450 honor. Obviously this is not right. I no-lifed the grind, I know that I got 1500 HKs with 120,000 + honor. It might’ve even been 135,000 by the end of the week.

Sorry if I don’t believe you since their honor didn’t change when they got their rank it wouldn’t make a lot of sense for yours to change.

I don’t really care what you believe. There’s more than enough evidence that people who never PVPd are getting rank 7 and people who grinded are getting nothing. To ignore that would be foolish.

And I agree that is true. I have no reason to believe that isn’t true I have seen evidence. I have not seen evidence of people not getting their rank when they grinded it though.
Again If its true I hope it gets fixed for it. But as of now I have no reason to believe you are telling the truth. So I am not gonna get outrage at blizzard for it.
How do you show evidence of something not happening? Either way you’re not a Blizzard employee so it doesn’t matter what you believe or what evidence there is.
There are people posting on reddit about jumping from rank 2 to 7 with 3k honor last week.

SOD has less than 5 developers working on it, I doubt they have the bandwidth to fix it.
They should really stop crapping the bed with these “fixes” then. People who wasted their commendations without getting the required 15 HKs should not be pandered to at the cost of the stability of the entire honor system.

I made a GM ticket and the response was “the devs are unaware of any bugs at the moment, they recently checked” lol. Okay.

They did announce that there was going to be a targeting of people that did honor through tokens without getting the right number of HKs as a one time thing. I’m sure if this was actually intended, then it’s an issue of perception and misinformation. And if it wasn’t intended they will make a statement about it. But it probably will take them time to investigate the situation.
Honor gained from HKs is rarely consistent. Ranking from just HKs in world PVP has always been a gamble even back in Era. Doing BGs and turning in marks has always been the most consistent method, because the honor gained from BG ticks and turn ins is standardized and stable.
Because they applied a hotfix for the people that did the R7 grind with tokens but didn’t get the required HKs for ranking.
