PvP Rank Pools Hotfix Coming October 13

Spoken like the welfare sponge you are!!!

Ah great, so not only did you use the system you now frown upon so vocally for one toon but for two.

“my main had a small pool”… yea right. Nobody Poolpartied there for your benefit ever.

The absolute nerve to come here after ranking on the back of said system and then claiming “man its really good they fixed that”… words can not describe the hubris displayed here

Guys leave blizz alone, they are a small indie company.

Not an excuse for also being a group of blatantly incompetent cash grabbing morons

Great change, if only it could of been sooner so all these undeserving rank 14s would of actually had to compete at some level.

Normally I would write out the following knowing full well it’s not true, but I’m not even sure anymore given the types of employees Blizzard likes to hire and their long history of hostility toward gamers.

But the approach to Classic by Blizzard reeks of people in a room saying “Oh you guys want the real Vanilla experience? Here, choke on it”.

I will explain it one more time for you, my dear. On your server, alliance side, pre-COVID rankers didn’t do delete characters pool parties.

Oh please we both know r14 is a time sink not a skill a skill competition. Being skilled just gets you into a good group and makes it slightly shorter.

Otherwise we wouldn’t have had clickers getting 13/14 in gen 1 lol.

Great change Blizz, I sincerely thank you.

This is terrible. I know some people were grinding honor 50+ hours a week. How does this make any sense?! Are you trying to harm people’s well being. The honor system was already bad enough. I just don’t understand. What are you thinking? What type of bad behavior/habits are you enabling?

I only have two weeks to get R14,I am going to quit,so sad to this hotfix. I am the wow player for 15 years. But I am so sad. I am going to quit this game.Even though the Blizzard doesn’t care who is going to quit.

So instead of each premade pooling their own slots to ensure a healthy pvp community, Blizz wants people to buy more accounts to multibox to keep the pool size at the same size.

This is why they did it. We will guarantee see more bots in bg’s now as a result of this because effective community pool transactions are over. It’s all cross server pooling and the pooling distributors who sold em will prob sell them as a package deal to multiple servers at a time.

All the hardcore sweaty no life did it without it,gen 1 had no pool party boosting ,only asking people to do 15hks btw ,after that it was casual play and barely 50hrs a week

More than half the people with r14 before pool parties like this are garbage. Stop kidding yourself to think it only goes to those who deserve it because it isn’t a competition. It only goes to those who’s crazy enough to neglect every aspect of their real life without respecting brackets and pooling. Pool parties, inflated brackets, etc all helped the community by allowing people to still grind but not grind nearly as hard so they don’t have to time sink majority of their lives into the game without giving up on family and jobs. And blizz’s reason is to fix botting issue… which is hilarious because more individuals will bot now to simply keep up with the honor grind. And if the community has an agreement to set this up without hurting anyone else (in fact benefiting EVERYONE else), there’s no reason to hotfix it. It’s not like an actual exploit like gorshak farming. They don’t fix the mage epidemics and issues that ruin the economy but this is A-ok? LOL

You guys just taking blizz’s words at face value really have no insight on any of this.

So… Have yall fixed the flyhack/teleporting loophole bots have been using for months as well?

Yknow, something that would actually help the community pretty significantly?

3rd party pool boosters don’t use bots for the specific reason that botting to do it was bannable. The reason why blizzard can’t just fix this problem by ban waves citing bots is because they don’t use them. Maybe once upon a time when 3rd party pooling first started… Nothing is automated as anything that automates the process is bannable.

You should seriously learn the context. I get a lot of people are raging and responded aggressively but you’re not doing anything here but being a contrarian (the way a kid just argues nonstop) while lacking context.

And majority of us manually pooled too. Let’s face it, blizz just wants more subscription and thought of a perfect way to do it while scapegoating something they’ll absolutely make worse (more bots)
